Homosexual Taking Bible To Court

'Gay' man sues Bible publishers: wnd
$70 million for emotional distress because homosexuality cast as sin

A homosexual man who has a blog on Sen. Barack Obama's campaign website is suing two major Christian publishers for violating his constitutional rights and causing emotional pain, because the Bible versions they publish refer to homosexuality as a sin.

Bradley LaShawn Fowler, 39, of Canton, Mich., is seeking $60 million from Zondervan and another $10 million from Thomas Nelson Publishing in lawsuits filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the Grand Rapids Press reported

Fowler filed his claim against Grand Rapids-based Zondervan Monday, alleging its Bibles' references to homosexuality as a sin have made him an outcast from his family and contributed to physical discomfort and periods of "demoralization, chaos and bewilderment," the paper said.

"Zondervan says that even if Fowler's claim is credible, he's suing the wrong party. A company spokesman told WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids that Zondervan doesn't translate the Bible or own the copyright for any of the translations but relies, instead, on the "scholarly judgment of credible translation committees.""

Fowler, who is representing himself in both lawsuits, says in his complaint against Zondervan that the publisher intended to design a religious, sacred document to reflect an individual opinion or a group's conclusion to cause "me or anyone who is a homosexual to endure verbal abuse, discrimination, episodes of hate, and physical violence ... including murder.'

re: "Zondervan says that even if Fowler's claim is credible"

Apparently the time has come to begin the next phase...going after the bible in the court system. This case may be a publicity stunt, hard to say. It may be just the first volley in an attempt to start some 'chaos' around the issue. Ordo ab chao (order out of chaos) is the modus operandi of the change agents.

The claim here is that the so-called modern versions (e.g. NIV, NASB, ESV) have used the word "homosexual" in a particular verse which was not so translated in the *King James Version, thus the alleged grounds for a lawsuit against the publishers of the 'modern' versions. One of the publishing companies, Zondervan, has already openly forwarded the idea of the possibility that the claim is valid. Shame!
As Zondervan has shown themselves to be on board with the emerging church/globalist agenda this comes as no real surprise though. It's all part of the same agenda...destroying biblical Christianity in order to merge it into the budding 'inclusive-global-spirituality' hybrid religion of the coming Antichrist. That's the truth. see: zondervan-emergents
*For the record, it is interesting to note that for the verse in question, 1 Cor. 6:9, the King James Bible actually uses a much more graphic and descriptive phrase to translate the meaning of the New Testament Greek word into the English language. Rather than the word "homosexual", the Greek word arsenokoites is translated into the phrase "abusers of themselves with mankind". Here is no innocuous name but a definitive incrimination of the very act. "Abusers of themselves...".
Strong's Greek dictionary gives the definition sodomite:
arsenokoites (ar-sen-ok-oy'-tace) : from 730 and 2845; a sodomite:--abuser of (that defile) self with mankind
(The Greek word itself, as seen, is a composite of two other words...#730 "arsen" which means male, and #2845 "koite" which basically means 'intercourse'; Vines Expository Dictionary. fyi)

Regardless of what happens with this case, the door has just been cracked...and it's a guarantee that this is just the beginning.
