Longer answer is that this fictional "Vitamin D" has long been touted as the 'sunshine vitamin", but the truth is that sunshine is not a "vitamin", and that what is passed off as the "sunshine vitamin" is a chemical substance made in a laboratory called "cholecalciferol". And the more startling truth is that cholecalciferol aka Vitamin D is rat poison. In other words, to say it in plain language, so-called "Vitamin D" is a fake vitamin - and has been marketed and labeled as the 'sunshine alternative' in order to 'sell it' to the public at large. So Houston the problem we have here is a fake vitamin which is actually rat poison being pushed as a remedy for a unquestionably fake virus aka so-called Covid-19. Can it get any more bizarre? First Genetically Engineered Salmon Sold in Canada

US firm AquaBounty Technologies says that its transgenic fish has hit the market after a 25-year wait.

Genetically engineered salmon has reached the dinner table. AquaBounty Technologies, the company in Maynard, Massachusetts, that developed the fish, announced on 4 August that it has sold some 4.5 tonnes of its hotly debated product to customers in Canada.

The sale marks the first time that a genetically engineered animal has been sold for food on the open market. It took AquaBounty more than 25 years to get to this point.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the salmon for consumption in November 2015, and Canadian authorities came to the same decision six months later. Neither country requires the salmon to be labelled as genetically engineered.

But unlike in Canada, political battles in the United States have stalled the salmon’s entry into the marketplace. The law setting out the US government’s budget for fiscal year 2017 includes a provision that instructs the FDA to forbid the sale of transgenic salmon until it has developed a programme to inform consumers that they are buying a genetically engineered product. Senator Lisa Murkowski (Republican, Alaska), who inserted the provision, has called AquaBounty’s salmon “fake fish”.

Ill Californians may take life-ending drugs starting in June

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - Terminally ill California residents will be able to legally end their lives with medication prescribed by a doctor beginning June 9.

State lawmakers adjourned a special session on health care Thursday, starting the 90-day countdown to physician-assisted suicide. The law approved last year made California the fifth state to adopt the practice, but patients were left in limbo until the session ended.

Marilyn Golden, a senior policy analyst with the Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund, said the law doesn't go far enough to protect people from being coerced into a premature suicide by an abusive caregiver or heir. It also could allow people denied medication by one doctor to shop around for the lethal drugs.

Religious institutions, like Catholic hospitals, can opt out and ban their doctors from participating in any assisted deaths. Patients must have two separate meetings with a physician before a doctor can prescribe a life-ending drug.

If there is any doubt over the person's mental capacities, physicians are required by law to refer the patient to a mental health care provider. Certified translators must also be required for patients who are non-native English speakers.

Pope suggests contraception can be condoned in Zika crisis

Pope Francis has suggested that women threatened with the Zika virus could use artificial contraception, saying there's a clear moral difference between aborting a fetus and preventing a pregnancy.

But Francis excluded abortion absolutely from the debate.

The Rev. James Bretzke, a moral theologian at Boston College, said the pope's remarks did not amount to any change, but were in "perfect consistency with the traditional moral teaching" of the church. Bretzke noted that Pope Paul VI's 1968 encyclical "Humanae Vitae," which affirmed the church prohibition against artificial birth control, allowed for some circumstances under which "contraceptive means" could be used for treatment or disease prevention.

Angelica Rivas, of the Feminist Collective for Social Development in El Salvador, said the pope's remarks would not be much help since the church in her country has consistently opposed sex education on the use of contraception, and birth control would not help the many women who are already pregnant.

"We have to give them the alternative of interrupting the pregnancy," Rivas said.

HONOLULU – Hawaii Gov. David Ige declared a state of emergency to fight mosquito borne illnesses including dengue fever and the Zika virus. The state has been in the midst of a dengue fever outbreak on Hawaii's Big Island, where there were more than 250 confirmed cases.

Hawaii is rushing to build up its mosquito control staff after a December report from the Centers for Disease Control highlighted deficiencies in the state's vector control department. The proclamation also will give the state more power to take preventive measures, including the ability to spray pesticides regardless of a homeowner's wishes.

WHO: Zika virus ‘spreading explosively,’ ‘level of alarm extremely high’

The World Health Organization announced Thursday that it will convene an emergency meeting to try to find ways to stop the transmission of the Zika virus — which officials said is "spreading explosively" across the Americas...The WHO said the pathogen, which was virtually unheard of in the region a year ago, is spreading so fast it could infect as many as 3 to 4 million people within 12 months.

In a separate briefing with reporters, U.S. officials said all states here are now required to report Zika cases. As a result, they said they expect to see a sharp increase in reports of travel-related cases. But they reiterated that the United States is unlikely to have the kind of widespread local outbreaks that are taking place in other parts of the Americas...At this point, here in the United States, the risk of disease spread by mosquitos are quite low," he said. "The temperatures in North America right now are inhospitable to the mosquito population. Eventually that will change and we have to be mindful any possible risk here in the United States.”

The WHO said the reason Zika appears to be spreading so rapidly is two-fold: One, because it is a new disease to the region, the population does not have immunity, and two, the Zika virus is primarily transmitted by a mosquito species known as A. aegypti, which lives in every country in North and South America except Canada and Chile.

Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said Thursday that investigators may be able to start a clinical trial for a vaccine as early as this year.

The WHO's Chan urged “every community, every family and individual” to do their part by, for example, taking care not to leave stagnant collections of water on their properties. She emphasized that every person in the world could be vulnerable to the virus.

The WHO special session on Zika is scheduled to take place on Monday and delegates will discuss whether to declare it global public health emergency -- a designation that could help mobilize a more coordinated response.

Salmon genetically modified to grow faster is safe to eat and may be sold in the United States, federal regulators said Thursday [11-19-15].

Companies can voluntarily label the salmon as genetically modified, or GM, but they don't have to, the Food and Drug Administration said.

"The FDA has approved AquaBounty Technologies' application for AquAdvantage Salmon, an Atlantic salmon that reaches market size more quickly than non-GE farm-raised Atlantic salmon," the agency said in a statement.

"The AquAdvantage Salmon may be raised only in land-based, contained hatchery tanks in two specific facilities in Canada and Panama," FDA said. The fisheries are taking care to make sure the modified salmon don't escape into the wild.

The FDA also said it would not require companies to label genetically modified food

Massachusetts-based AquaBounty has genetically engineered the salmon using two genes from two different species of fish that make it grow faster.

[excerpted] Six years after legislation to encourage end-of-life planning touched off a furor over "death panels," President Barack Obama's administration issued a final rule on Friday [10-30-15] that authorizes Medicare to pay doctors for consultations with patients on how they would like to be cared for as they are dying.

Under the final rule, he said, "patients and families can have the discussions when and where they want" -- before patients become ill, after they receive a diagnosis of cancer or other serious illness, or while they are receiving hospice or palliative care.

Under the rule, officials said, Medicare would pay $86 for the first 30 minutes of "advance care planning" in a doctor's office and $80 for the service in a hospital. In both settings, they said, Medicare will pay up to $75 for 30 additional minutes of consultation.

The final rule, which takes effect in January, is consistent with recommendations from the American Medical Association.

re: 'final rule'

The 6-9-12 TIME magazine "euthanasia" scenario now officially funded by the ZNWO. The "final rule" issued 10-30-15 will provide financial incentive to so-called health professionals to essentially make the euthanasia program in the Medicare system just part of the normal routine. Starting January 2016, before illness, during, or already receiving "palliative care" - anytime will be a good time for planning "how to die" - per the would-be novus-orod-seclorum death panel creators. Fifty-five million plus enrolled currently in Medicare, and reportedly health industry 'experts' note that the medical field overall generally follows the trend of Medicare. In other words, the ZNWO euthanasia program will quickly become the 'new norm' across the entire 'health-care' spectrum.

As mentioned in the "related to" post linked above, providing doctors etc. a financial incentive to 'urge' people to choose 'how they would like to die' cannot be viewed in any way other than purely a business move. Obviously the cost of paying the "death-consultants" their fee would have to be significantly less than paying for long term health care for the 'no-longer-useful'. That of course being wholly dependent on them achieving a certain degree of success.

Wonder if there might be some performance clauses built into those death-consultant contracts.

At any rate mark the day as this is history in the making - very dark history that is: Euthanasia now to be the standard - by an official decree called the "final rule".

California Governor Signs Landmark Right-To-Die Law

California Gov. Jerry Brown signed landmark legislation Monday, allowing terminally ill patients to obtain lethal medication to end their lives when and where they choose. One of the key co-authors of the legislation, state Sen. Bill Monning, a Democrat from Carmel, Calif., said the signing "marks a historic day in California".

Marilyn Golden, a policy analyst with the Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund, also strongly opposes the new law. It lacks safeguards, she said, adding that she fears abusive heirs or caregivers could "steer" patients toward assisted suicide.

The new law requires two doctors to determine that a patient has six months or less to live before the lethal drugs can be prescribed. Patients also must be physically able to swallow the medication themselves and must have the mental capacity to make medical decisions.

Golden called these safeguards "hollow." She said none of the states — including California — that have legalized this option require a witness at the death. When asked if opponents would be monitoring implementation of the law to ensure there is no abuse, she said her group "is not taking any options off the table right now."

The law will take effect sometime in 2016 — 91 days after the special legislative session, which is still ongoing, concludes. At that time, California will become the fifth state to allow physician-assisted suicide. Oregon, Washington, Montana and Vermont permit the practice. It was permitted in New Mexico until August, when an appeals court in the state reversed a lower court ruling that had established physician-assisted suicide as a right. The New Mexico Supreme Court is now hearing that case.

The California law is set to expire in 10 years, unless the Legislature passes another law to extend it.

These terms are an attempt to sanitize the blood letting. 'Culling' is the correct word. It is killing off the old, and killing off the weak and tired, or the sick or 'depressed' - those with various issues who wrongly see "assisted suicide" as an answer. This 6-11-12 TIME magazine "How To Die" piece is promulgating the very thing...That it has come to this point is no surprise when the driving force behind the madness is understood. The vast masses of people are viewed by the cabalist-globalists as little more than resources to be managed for their own benefit as they construct the new-order-of-the-ages wherein all of humanity shall be subdued under their totalitarian feet [see: Zionists]...or so they intend.
