[excerpted] Residents of New Jersey, whose homes were ravaged by superstorm Sandy and are now having to endure yet another wintery storm, are revealing through first-hand accounts that camps FEMA is providing are more like prisons.

According to the Asbury Park Press, some displaced New Jersey residents have had to relocate to FEMA tent camps in the northeastern part of the state in alleged efforts to secure better shelter, running hot water and washing machines, but members of the camp are saying that none of what was promised is available.

“At (Pine Belt) the Red Cross made an announcement that they were sending us to permanent structures up here that had just been redone, that had washing machines and hot showers and steady electric, and they sent us to tent city. We got (expletive),” distraught Oceanport camp resident Brian Sotelo said.

As if adding insult to injury, the camp is referred to as “Camp Freedom,” however, Sotelo says camp residents feel more like they’re imprisoned: “Everybody is angry over here. It’s like being prison [sic].”

As no media is allowed beyond the fences of the camp, what little news has managed to escape the area is disturbing. Angered residents are revealing that they are intentionally being kept quiet, being denied electricity to charge their phones and suspect surveillance by roving vehicle patrols.

Sotelo also noted that several members of the camp had tried to contact the media regarding the horrendous living conditions, but were met with opposition: “After everyone started complaining and they found out we were contacting the press, they brought people in. Every time we plugged in an iPhone or something, the cops would come and unplug them.”

According to Sotelo, victims are not being allowed to return to their homes, even though, as part of a relief crew, he’s passed his own rented home several times, noting it had only sustained about a foot’s worth of water damage.

A FEMA spokesperson refuted Sotelo’s claims, saying that “staff at the micro-city are providing for the needs of all the evacuees.”

The TSA’s bizarre new policy where it orders travelers who have already passed security to “freeze” on command has been caught on camera, with the clip illustrating once more how the federal agency has implemented a series of ludicrous policies that seemingly have no other purpose than to act as an obedience test for the traveling public. The video shows the final 24 seconds of a 2 minute period during which travelers were ordered to “freeze” by TSA workers and were not allowed to move. One TSA screener is heard to say, “stay right where you are,” at a man who is walking through the airport, as the other static travelers look on in bewilderment:

After this, I walked into the terminal intersection they had cut off, expecting to see someone in handcuffs, face down on the carpet with a bunch of cops on him. Or at least ONE single police officer or security guard... but there were none. There was NO incident happening, whatsoever. And everyone went onwards to their gates...I wound up sitting next to a couple on the plane and asked them if they got ensnared in this weirdness, and they didn't. But it turned out that the guy sitting next to me knew exactly what it was: an insane TSA strategy of mind control. It's called a "freeze drill". He'd read of it in the New York Times, and sure enough, he used Southwest's wi-fi access and found the article for me: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/29/business/29road.html?_r=0 ...Turns out this article is a year and a half old. In any case, I was stunned. It is a TOTAL police state maneuver which serves no purpose other than to reinforce the notion that a TSA "voice of authority" can tell you to stop where you are at any time."

Officers were used as human barricades in an effort to keep the demonstrators on main arteries, but when protesters changed course in their uncharted marches they were permitted to go where they wanted to avoid confrontation, as long as they didn’t try to get too close to McCormick Place where the NATO summit and many of the dignitaries were staying.

A Big Dot: Australia, Singapore Agree To Merge Stock Markets

ASX and Singapore Stock Exchange in $8.4 billion merger

AUSTRALIA'S stock exchange operator and its Singaporean counterpart face months of work convincing regulators in both countries of the benefits of their proposed $8.4 billion merger.

ASX Ltd and the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX) today entered into an agreement to implement a merger, which would see SGX buy all ASX shares in a cash and scrip deal valuing the stock at $48.

Each of the exchange operator's boards have unanimously supported the arrangement, but the merge remains subject to regulators in each country.

Most significant for the ASX is the approval of the Australian government in respect of the 15 per cent foreign ownership limit outlined in the Corporations Act.

ASX chief executive Robert Elstone and SGX CEO Magnus Bocker expect talks to continue for up to six months before shareholder meetings can be convened some time in the first half of 2011.

"I don't think we would have announced it if we didn't believe that the approvals wouldn't be forthcoming," Mr Elstone said.

Every State To Participate In Massive Investigation Into Possibly 'Deceptive' Foreclosure Practices

Regulators from all 50 states are launching a coordinated investigation into possibly "deceptive" and "unfair" foreclosure practices that may have illegally evicted families from their homes.

A bipartisan group of state attorneys general from 49 states and financial regulators from 39 states will work together to comb through foreclosure filings and documents from mortgage servicers to see if any state laws have been broken in the rush by services to kick borrowers out of their homes without following various state and local laws.

If they find systemic abuse -- which many experts say is a given in the current market due to the lack of investment by servicers and their desire to service mortgages on the cheap -- that inquiry may broaden to include an examination of even loan-level documents. Such a time-consuming investigation will likely lead to significant costs being borne by the nation's largest servicers, which also happen to be the nation's largest banks.

Wall Street: Foreclosure moratorium would be 'catastrophic'

The Securities Industry and Financial Association said Monday that a "systemwide moratorium on all foreclosures" would be "catastrophic."

"It must be recognized that the mortgage market, investors and the health of the economy are all inter-related," Tim Ryan, president and CEO, of SIFA, said in a statement. Panic in Ukraine, Authorities deny aircraft are spraying aerosols over cities, Martial Law expected 10-31-09

The office of Emergency Response in the district of Desniansko, Kiev, are tonight (30th Oct.) strongly refuting reports that light aircraft were spraying a substance over the city intended to counter a “swine flu pandemic” in Ukraine.

It was reported that light aircraft were seen over the Forest market area of the city (close to the Forest metro station) and they were spraying an aerosol substance intended to “counter swine flu”, this of course would constitute forced medication of the population.

The editors of local newspapers in Kiev received dozens of phone calls from concerned residents and shop owners in the Forest market area of the city reporting they had observed several light airplanes circling in the sky during the day spraying an unidentified aerosol into the atmosphere.

Reports of helicopters and light airplanes spraying aerosols over Kiev, Lviv, Ternopil, and other cities throughout Ukraine are tonight flooding online forums and websites, hundreds of people have verified the reports with their own eye-witness accounts.

An order from President Yushchenko is expected soon that will effectively place Ukraine under “martial law”. “Due to the complex epidemiological situation in the western regions of Ukraine, where tens of thousands of people have become ill, thousands are in hospital, and dozens have died.”

Nine regions of Ukraine have declared a quarantine around the country and public events have been banned (including the elections).The Clergy have been ordered not to hold any Church or religious services on Sundays or to gather a congregation for any reason whatsoever. He's in a pretty high-up supervisory position for a refinery down on the coast. His refinery has some equipment and lines in and around Galveston county, and before they were to bring them back on line he and his crew had to inspect the place for damage and potential hazards. So they were given permission....after a background check....to helicopter in and inspect, which meant coming in over Galveston.

"I kid you not when I say that he told me they saw AT LEAST 1500 bodies in trees scattered about Galveston. They also saw a lot in various ditches and marshes, esp. on the north side of East Galv. Bay, east side of Trinity Bay, and in the marshes between I-45 and Seabrook/Clear Lake/Deer Park.

It explains why they're not letting the media anywhere close to the Island except in limited sectors nd we're not hearing anything from or about the people who survived and those who stayed behind. It's like 20,000 people never existed....where are they? Where'd they go? What are their names? Nothing....

Same thing in Orange county.

Take it for what it's worth....I believe him, though his count may be wrong given the shock of the sight. But like I said, I'd trust him to raise my kids.

I'd be more surprised if he were wrong than if he were right."

"Homeland security has setup up 3 internal checkpoints on the Olympic Peninsula. These checkpoints are in addition to checkpoints at Washington Ferry docks and highway border crossings. According to the U.S. Border Patrol, it has a jurisdiction of about 100 miles from the border. This puts most of Washington state in an area where border checkpoints are authorized, including Seattle."

"In August and again in the beginning of September, the Department of Homeland Security has set up suspicion-less checkpoints on the Washington peninsula. The checkpoints are in the town of Forks, at the west side of the Hood Canal bridge going east bound, and at the third near Discovery Bay on US 101. Forks is a timber town of 3,200 people that is 56 miles from the nearest ferry terminal connecting Washington to Canada. At the road checkpoints there and elsewhere, the border patrol ask drivers different types of questions to gauge their status in the U.S., including questions about citizenship."

"In my life I have never seen anything like this! My niece got married today. The Wedding festivities ended at midnight. On my way home on the opposite side of the #60 freeway going into Downtown L. A. I see very large trucks w/flashing lights - about 25 to 30 - lined up to form a single-file line for cars to follow to be stopped by at least 2 dozen police! This is on a 5-lane freeway, mind you!"

"Thousands of cars and thousands of unsuspecting people are experiencing for the first time in their lives, the full impact of what a police state is all about this morning, folks! The freeway looks like a parking lot!"

"So, I quickly and fortunately got off at the very next offramp and tried to get on, again, further up the road. However, there were several arrows on the streets for people to follow - seemingly to take you on a detour to another on ramp - but, no; they only led to more check points!"

"I live in Burbank and I couldn't get onto the northbound Golden State Frwy until I passed Griffith park which is about 3 to 4 miles beyond where the check point started on the freeway on my side (about 6 to 7 miles from where I first noticed the check point on the opposite side of the freeway!)"

"Every single one of those 3 to 4 miles on my side had cars w/mulitple passengers in them and the cars were at a complete stop waiting for their turn to be chuted in like cattle to be asked for their papers (?) and to be questioned by the cops (for possible DUI?). I would say, there were, at least, 3 to 4 and maybe even 5 thousand cars, approximately, on both sides of the checkpoints waiting to get through the. Unbelievable!!

Never in my 61 years have I ever seen anything like this before!!"

Assimilating the U.S. into the NWO

Starts off slowly...always does, whatever new thing is being introduced, just a few here and there...before long the people are conditioned, soon it becomes the 'new norm'. Internal checkpoints will be everywhere sooner than later. Watch and see

While sitting on the sofa watching the next installment of this made-for-tv miniseries called 'Election 20o8', the RNC, it may be interesting to consider the big picture of the entire production and how it all fits perfectly into the global agenda. Here is a little peek outside of the production studio to the real world...into the streets of St. Paul, from an unknown eye witness:

First Hand Account...(from somebody named Elizabeth)

"I just wanted to blog this morning, after finally getting about 4 hours sleep, to tell the world - or what bit portion of it is still paying attention, my account of the RNC activism events today."

"What i saw was extreme...There is no doubt in mind, from the limited exposure I did get of the whole RNC scene, that we are in fact under Martial Law. There is no walking through downtown St Paul without coming to the absolute realization that we are not safe and most certainly not free." (bolding by author)

"First hand, I saw at least 4 snipers on top of downtown buildings surrounding the RNC ground zero at any given time. In the river just ahead of our festival, there were coast guard boats with massive machine guns loaded and ready to fire, two per boat. Many boats patrolled the waters of the mighty [city-polluted] Mississippi throughout the day. Later on, about 10 boats were seen at once, all surrounding a non-violent sit-in on the banks of the Mississippi, along with various officials inland, their squad lights ablaze."

"On the way into the city, everything became increasingly intense. Our bus took at least 4 detours... We saw the March on The RNC To Stop the War and many blocks away we observed troops of swat teams in complete & full gear doing coreographed marches in 20 some numbered groups. I personally recall noting 3 separate groups of these swat teams during my pilgrimage to the island for the show."

"The downtown area was completely shut down. I believe it was about a six block radius which was under a military-like rule. The secret service, national guard and fbi were all in attendance. I estimate that every corner had at least 2-3 cops or service individuals posted to it, giving each block about a 10-person cover by the government's forces. Later bike & horse police were also seen in massive groups. Video of excessive force from todays events can be found with a swift 'google' on the subject."

"Finally, the helicopter...I suppose I note this lastly because of the role it later played in my first hand experience... All day we saw police helicopter fly-bys over our festival and the RNC & back again. They could clearly see us and probably knew all about our event prior to its arrival, especially given the constant state trooper walk-through's that plagued the festival. When the fest finally ended and people began to make their way back downtown, the officials shut down the bridges crossing the Mississippi one by one until none were left to cross and people were catapulted into a panic. The people at the front of the group I was in explained that the cops threatened them with tear gas if we tried to cross."

"When the bridges did finally start to reopen and the group I was with did get across, one young girl's mother told us that there was no reason for them to shut it down. No one was doing anything "stupid" on the bridges. That "all of a sudden there were just swarms of cops and then they just shut the bridges down.""
