article: Pope: All faiths must unite against violence

SYDNEY, Australia — Pope Benedict XVI told representatives of Islam and other faiths that they must unite to combat religion's role in "sinister and indiscriminate" violence.

Benedict ....held a separate meeting with deputies of Christian denominations.

"I think you would agree that the ecumenical movement has reached a critical juncture," he told the Christian representatives. "We must guard against any temptation to view doctrine as divisive and hence an impediment to the seemingly more pressing and immediate task of improving the world in which we live."

re: viewing "doctrine as divisive"

Religion, and conflicting doctrines of who God is, are things that must divide, so of course the global cry for unity will be unceasing from here on out. This 'unity' must occur to establish the new global society, and it is not going to be any one religion but a blending of all religions. This 'unity' must occur also to fulfil biblical prophecy (see: false-prophet). Be alerted Christian.
"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist..." 1 John 2:22.
Christian, there can be no 'unity' with any religion that denies the person and the deity of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, whether Jew or Muslim, Hindu or Buddhist, or even those that attempt to make another his equal...e.g. Catholicism and the worship of Mary. These all are 'anti-christ', according to the apostle John as recorded in the Word of God. Division, or separation, is mandatory...for
"what communion hath light with darkness?" and "what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?"
"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord" (2 Cor. 6:14-15,17)
Christian, the agenda is at a "critical juncture" according to the official story line. This language should be sufficient to convince any rational person of the seriousness of these events that we see unfolding. There's no turning back at this point, all the cards have been laid on the table. The unity cry will be unceasing, and the pressure to conform and compromise and deny the Lord Jesus will be increasing. Be prepared.
