Flu shots urged for Canadian livestock workers

OTTAWA — To reduce the risk of the H1N1 virus mutating, livestock workers were pressed Tuesday to get their flu shots following the discovery of a turkey flock with the illness.

“We have to do all we can to stop the transmission of viruses between people and animals,” said Dr. Arlene King, Ontario’s top medical officer. “The risk is potential changes to the virus, against which people could have reduced or low immunity.”

The turkey-flock infection does serve as a “clarion call” to livestock workers to get both their seasonal-flu and pandemic-flu shots, said King.

Can turkeys get the pig flu? Well, when you are the NWO Bureau of Propaganda and need to keep the con going they can - apparently. The pandemic new world order is just barely started...and it is not going anywhere anytime soon. It is here to stay.
