More 'interreligion' merging

Saudi King Calls for Interfaith Dialogue: washingtontimes
"The idea is to ask representatives of all monotheistic religions to sit together with their brothers in faith and sincerity to all religions as we all believe in the same God," the king told delegates Monday night at a seminar on "Culture and the Respect of Religions."
"Abdullah said he planned to hold conferences to get the opinion of Muslims from other parts of the world, and then meetings with "our brothers" in Christianity and Judaism "so we can agree on something that guarantees the preservation of humanity against those who tamper with ethics, family systems and honesty."

Do Christians believe in the same God as other religions?
According to the scripture quoted below, ANY religion that "denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father". So regardless of what men will say, those who reject the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ will be found to be contradicting the Word of God, and also found to not have Him at all. That is very clear. You cannot have the Father without the Son! That is according to the God of the bible, in His own words! In other words, bible believing Christians cannot be believing in the "same God" with those who reject the Lord Jesus Christ, no matter who.

1 John 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
