Baptists wrestle with ways to find common ground with other faiths

ATLANTA- As Baptists seek common ground to work with people of other faiths, they face the challenge of finding ways to be relevant in an interfaith context while retaining their own distinctive identity.

Gaddy, who works daily with 75 different religious traditions in the United States, said he believes the future of the church will be interreligious in nature.

"In that future, distinctions of diversity must be preserved," he said. "We do not need a religious community shaped by the lowest common denominator. That would rob us of the symphonic-like nature of the people who make up this nation."

"Some specific suggestions...

Demonstrate your Christian beliefs by your actions, not by preaching

Study a book on another religion in Sunday school or on Wednesday night.

Dream a new church-one not only focused on its own internal life but one that wants to reach out in dialogue."

re: "future of the church will be interreligious"

Yes indeed it will, and the Baptists are marching blindly into it. Don't preach...by no means. And study other religions in Sunday school of course, not the bible...and while you're at it...see what new way for 'doing church' you can dream up too. Beware when you hear these things spoken as you no doubt will, if you have not already. Can you see it?
The world's religions truly will be merged in the coming days as we come ever closer to the ending of the "age of grace", as foretold in the Word of God. This article is a primer for learning the deceptive language (buzzwords) being used by those who are facilitating the transition of biblical Christianity into the designed "interreligious" global spirituality. From the globalist perspective, the merging of religions is simply necessary initially for global management purposes. It is at the very root a business decision, so to speak.
The one-world church won't 'merge' itself so strategies have been developed to bring this about. "Finding common ground" is one of those strategies. True Christianity has no common ground with any 'religion'. None at all. Rev. 18:4

Do not be deceived as many are/will be!

2 Cor. 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them ; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing ; and I will receive you. 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
