The Queen James Bible Release: a Story of Malice and Deception
On December 12, 2012 an unnamed US publisher announced release of the Queen James Bible (QJB), dubbed A Gay Bible. It was apparently produced for the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, and Transgender) community using the 1769 edition of the King James Bible (KJB) for its base translation. The following commentary and conclusions concern the contents of the QJB’s official website, its press release, and Internet coverage.
It is claimed that the term homosexual was not used in Bible translation before 1946. That term was also never used in any preserved text Bible because it did not exist in the English language until 1892, according to Webster’s Dictionary.
Clearly, the decision of the QJB’s editors and publisher was to modify the KJB’s text to accord with the LGBT agenda. To purchase the QJB, its official website directs one to Amazon where God is indicated as the Author and Jesus Christ as Contributor. The claim for the new "QJB..big fabulous bible" is that only eight verses of the KJV were changed. The reason put forth for rewriting the Word of God in these specific verses to a gay-friendly interpretation is the claim that all biblical opposition to homosexuality is based on "interpretive ambiguity...as it pertains to homosexuality". So, to correct this "ambiguity", the 'Gay Bible' editors assumed unto themselves the needed 'creative liberty' to reinterpret the 'incorrectly interpreted' eight passages in question, with, ironically, their own, and ridiculously absurd, gay friendly ambiguity - as seen:

(On these two verses in Romans [besides the obvious rewording which changes the sense of the words completely] these partial quotes from the QJV website give the overall 'gay-friendly' explanation for the changes: "Most scholars (us included), agree that the sin in Romans 1 isn’t being gay or lesbian or having gay sex. The sin was worshiping pagan idols instead of God, as it was in Leviticus, as it is everywhere in the Bible...We can’t be exactly sure what Paul meant by the natural use of a woman, but we can be pretty sure he wasn’t talking about lesbian sex...While the women were occupied with unnatural uses of their bodies (which could even have meant pagan dancing; we really have no idea), the men carried on in typical pagan sexual fashion like they always had done in pagan worship. And, being pagan, it was obviously “unseemly.”

Far from the Holy Bible, by any stretch of the imagination, being used to sanction homosexual behavior and/or homosexual pseudo-marriage, the above verses [1Cor. 6:9; 1Tim. 1:10] from the inerrant Word of God are actually an unequivocal condemnation of homosexuality. This is made indisputable, interestingly enough, by the very significant fact that the word "homosexual" is not even used. No, a much more descriptive and graphic phrase is used to translate the original New Testament Greek word for "homosexual" into the English language. In 1Cor 6:9, the Greek word "arsenokoites" is translated into the English phrase "abusers of themselves with mankind".
Strong's Greek dictionary gives the definition "sodomite": arsenokoites (ar-sen-ok-oy'-tace) : from 730 and 2845; a sodomite:--abuser of (that defile) self with mankind
(The Greek word itself, as seen, is a composite of two other words...#730 "arsen" which means male, and #2845 "koite" which basically means 'intercourse'; Vines Expository Dictionary. [also where the English word "coitus" is derived])
Here is no innocuous name, but a definitive incrimination of the very act. "Abusers of themselves...".
Furthermore, and also highly significant to note from the 1Cor. 6:9-10 scripture passage, is that "arsenkoites" are not a special category as they would have us believe, but are just a sub-group of a broader classification of general sinners, i.e. rebels against the holiness and authority of God Almighty. They are not set apart for special treatment in the Word of God, which by the way is "forever" (1Peter 1:24-25), but are lumped in with fornicators of every stripe, along with idolaters, adulterers, thieves, drunkards, etc.. This category is known as "the unrighteous"...none of whom..."shall inherit the kingdom of God".
