Leviticus 17:11 'For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul'

God the LORD the creator of heaven and earth [Isaiah 45:18] does not forgive sin because he is all-loving and merciful and "knows your heart" and because "he loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life". No, God forgives sin for one reason only: because...of the blood. Confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, and thou shalt be saved: Rom 10:9
