update on the California Homosexual marriage ban victory

California Atty Gen says he'll defend gay marriages already performed
(11-05) 18:16 PST SAN FRANCISCO -- A day after California voters approved a state constitutional ban on same-sex marriage, the incendiary issue returned to the state Supreme Court, where gay and lesbian couples and the city of San Francisco filed lawsuits Wednesday seeking to overturn Proposition 8.
And Attorney General Jerry Brown, who represents the state in court, said he would defend the legality of the thousands of same-sex marriages conducted in the 5 1/2 months leading up to election day - even though sponsors of Prop. 8 say the measure was intended to invalidate those marriages. That controversy is also likely to end up before California's high court and could reach the U.S. Supreme Court.

re: the people have spoken..oh well
Obama's opening lines of the 'victory' speech on the evening of 11-4-08 included these words, something about the people's voice being 'heard':
"...because they believed that this time must be different; that their voice could be that difference. It's the answer spoken by young and old, rich and poor, Democrat and Republican, black, white, Latino, Asian, Native American, gay, straight, disabled and not disabled."
Well, the people of California believed "that their voice could be that difference" and overturned the homosexual faux-marriage amendment, but apparently it might not 'count', and more than likely will end up in the U.S. Supreme Court. Seeing that the homosexual agenda now has an advocate in the White House who has gone out of his way to give them an honorable mention in his acceptance speech it's not likely that Obama will back up his words from his speech that night.

fyi: Obama is on record as being strongly opposed to the DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act) which, for one thing, prohibits individual states from being forced to recognize out-of-state homosexual marriages:
3-2-08 quoted article: In an alarmingly pointed written statement Obama signed his named to the personal promise of greater advance against the institution of marriage of any candidate to ever run for the highest office.
Pointedly so he gave his full pledge to overturn, or repeal, the federal Defense of Marriage Act
In pledging to overturn DOMA Obama seeks to remove state's rights, violate the principles of federalism, violate a major tenant of all traditional religious systems observed in America, and subject children to a quite non-healthy home-life.

That little thing about 'voices making a difference'..uhh...nevermind.
One more thing. Do you know that the new order will not tolerate true Christians? Be aware.
