When Did The NT Church Really Start? - Acts 2 Or Mid-Acts 9, 13, etc. [Solved] - Not What You Think - Back To The Image John 20

When did the New Testament church really begin? Any familiar with the topic are well aware of the never-ending disagreements on the topic. It is a very important topic because when exactly the NT church began is foundational to everything that follows. Acts 2 is of course the most common view but others put it at Acts 9, 13, or even later. Only one answer can be correct of course and the fact is 'none of the above' are correct. Surprise to most all, the NT church did not begin Acts 2, or anytime after that, but at an earlier time. The account of the actual beginning of the NT church is found in 20th chapter of John. Here is found the only correct answer - which is that the NT church actually began on the day of the resurrection - in the evening - when this happened:

John 20:19 'Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you'

The day of the resurrection this was the evening. All the disciples were there.. (except Thomas v. 24); Peter James John etc. would have all been there -- and then the risen Lord Jesus Christ..

Manna in the wilderness. Students of their bibles know the story. Most non-students of the bible have heard it also. After passing through the Red Sea the children of Israel spent the next forty years wandering in the wilderness before entering Canaan. Throughout this entire period of their history the LORD God fed them miraculously each day with "manna", bread rained from heaven [Exodus 16:4,15,35]. This is a picture, a type, for NT believers. For these called-out ones, this world is a wilderness, and they too have only one possible source of sustenance while passing through it [1John 2:16-17], namely the antitype of the manna, the true bread from heaven, the Lord Jesus Christ [John 6:51]. Mackintosh (1820-1896) commentary on Exodus in which he brings out something very profound about this "manna" that all would do well to take to heart - that is that it fell not upon the earth but 'fell upon the dew':

The manna was so pure and delicate that it could not bear contact with earth. It fell upon the dew [Num. 11:9], and had to be gathered ere the sun was up. Each one, therefore, had to rise early and seek his daily portion. So it is with the people of God now. The heavenly manna must be gathered fresh every morning. Yesterdays manna will not do for today, nor today's for tomorrow. We must feed upon Christ every day, with fresh energy of the Spirit, else we shall cease to grow. Moreover, we must make Christ our primary object. We must seek Him "early," before "other things" have had time to take possession of our poor susceptible hearts. Many of us, alas! fail in this. We give Christ a secondary place, and the consequence is, we are left feeble and barren. The enemy, ever watchful, takes advantage of our excessive spiritual indolence to rob us of the blessedness and strength which flow from feeding upon Christ. The new life in the believer can only be nourished and sustained by Christ. "As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father; so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me." [John 6:57]

It is truly deplorable to find Christians seeking after the things of this world. It proves, very distinctly, that they are "loathing" the heavenly manna, and esteeming it "light bread" [Numbers 21:5].

State Farm on Thursday told California's Department of Insurance to let them raise home insurance rates for millions of citizens, or they will ax cover. The move by the insurance giant comes amid a growing insurance crisis in California.

A slew of insurers - including Allstate, Farmers Direct and State Farm in a previous move - have limited cover or stopped doing business entirely in the Golden State. They blame the intensifying risk of climate disasters.

State Farm disclosed it wants to raise prices by 30 percent for homeowners, 36 percent for condo owners, and 52 percent for renters. - 'This has the potential to affect millions of California consumers and the integrity of our residential property insurance market,' insurance commissioner Ricardo Lara said.

The California Department of Insurance had already approved two State Farm requests that saw citizens home insurance rise drastically, including a 6.9 percent hike at the start of last year and a 20 percent rise that began this past March.

'State Farm General’s latest rate filings raise serious questions about its financial condition,' he said of the number one insurance firm in the US. He added how a rate hearing may even necessary.. Only then, he said, would officials make a decision on whether to approve the requests - a process that could end up taking months.

US state sued over Ten Commandments law

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and other activist groups have joined with nine Louisiana families to sue the state over a new law that requires publicly funded schools to post copies of the Ten Commandments in classrooms. The case was filed on Monday [6-24-24] in the US District Court in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Governor Jeff Landry signed the legislation into law last week, making Louisiana the first US state to require all public schools to display the Ten Commandments. Specifically, the law dictates that a Protestant translation of the Bible verses be used. It applies to all primary and secondary schools, as well as universities, that receive state funding.

The legislation refers to the Ten Commandments as “foundational documents” of Louisiana’s state and national governments. “I look forward to implementing the law and defending Louisiana’s sovereign interest to select classroom content fundamental to America’s foundation,” Louisiana Superintendent of Education Cade Brumley said in a statement to WWL-TV, the CBS News affiliate in New Orleans.

Ten commandments back in the schools? Is this a good thing - or maybe not really? - because if 'they' are doing it ..then most assuredly they have an ulterior motive. Not even a question about that. No doubt the legion of squawking [Matt. 13:31-32] minds-blinded judaized pulpiteers of this present church-age of Laodicea 2024 will all in one accord be acclaiming the 'gloriousness' of this 'society-changing' move, while the professing rank and file lamps-gone-out foolish-virgins [Matt. 25:8] filling their apostate churches will all be mindlessly chiming-in in perfect harmony.. 'Let the last-days revival begin .. God is moving God is moving', etc. etc.

..which very well may be exactly the song they sing - under strong delusion believing it. But oh what great deception this is. Without going into detail here (see two previous posts linked below), but rather just stating these things as fact, there are two things primarily to note: (1st) the deception on a so-called 'endtimes revial' is blatantly obvious, and (2nd) the ulterior motive for putting the ten commandments back in schools is also blatantly obvious - which two very obvious things are these:
