Fast-moving wildfire forces hundreds to evacuate California Six Flags

A popular Southern California amusement park will reopen Monday after a wildfire prompted a dramatic evacuation. A fast-moving brush fire pushed flames dangerously close to a packed Six Flags Magic Mountain Sunday. Crews are battling at least six fires burning across California this morning.

There's no official word on the cause of the fire but the area is a tinderbox right now, reports CBS News. Meanwhile, north of Sacramento, more than 500 firefighters worked to get the Sand Fire under control.

In a controversial move, utility company PG&E cut power to more than 20,000 in Northern California as a precaution. The company is under increasing pressure after an investigation found its power lines caused last year's Camp Fire.

"We certainly understand that it's inconvenient for customers to be without power," said PG&E spokesperson Paul Moreno. "We also want to keep these communities safe. So when these extreme fire conditions call for it, we're doing a public safety power shutoff."

Impossible fires burning down entire towns/communities around the globe. Of course an explanation must be given. The official explanation for CA's devastating so-called 'Camp Fire' last year, referenced in the above article, is "arcing" of electrical power lines - i.e. sparks jumping between lines or conductors - and then windy conditions spreading the sparks, causing the fires.

Anybody buying that? Never has happened before. Regardless, for the sake of argument, say that is true. A fire starting is one thing. A fire that burns with impossible precision, a 'smart fire', as they have been aptly described, that burns selectively, impossibly - as all at this point have seen and fully know to be the case - this can never be explained by natural causes. Never-ever-never. That is an inescapable fact.

And as seen in the above article, in some of these specific fire locations, Agenda 21 target areas the only possible real explanation - now as follow up - to back-up the official excuse apparently, and apparently as well to make things unlivable in these areas for remaining residents, these residents are and will be subjected to having their power shut off on 'windy days' for "public safety". Report: President May Invoke Insurrection Act to Remove Illegal Aliens

The Daily Caller spoke to multiple senior Administration officials who said President Trump is planning to use the Insurrection Act of 1807 to remove illegal aliens from the United States. The Act was last used by President George H.W. Bush to control the 1992 Los Angeles riots. President Dwight Eisenhower also used the Act in 1957 to desegregate schools in the south.

The series of statutes that make up the Insurrection Act date back to the nation’s founding. It says,

“Whenever the President considers that unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages, or rebellion against the authority of the United States, make it impracticable to enforce the laws of the United States in any State by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings, he may call into Federal service such of the militia of any State, and use such of the armed forces, as he considers necessary to enforce those laws or to suppress the rebellion.”

This means, according University of Texas Law Professor Stephen Vladeck, that “if the president determines that ordinary law enforcement is inadequate to enforce federal law, he can deploy the military to assist. And although Congress in the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 generally prohibited use of the federal military for domestic law enforcement, the Insurrection Act was always understood as the principal exception to that general rule.”

Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis has indicated that he will sign a bill aimed at combating anti-Semitism in public education, and it could occur during his planned trip to Israel later in the month.

“We have an anti-Semitism bill, which is one of the strongest in the nation, that I’ll sign into law, actually I think I will sign it into law when we’re in Jerusalem doing a Cabinet meeting,” the governor said, according to the Orlando Weekly. He plans to be in Israel during the week of May 25-31.

HB 741 highlights anti-Semitism, calling upon schools to treat such discrimination “by students or employees or resulting from institutional policies motivated by anti-Semitic intent in an identical manner to discrimination motivated by race.”

House Bill 741 cruised through the Florida House and Senate, receiving unanimous votes of approval from both bodies.

The bill lists defines examples of anti-Semitism, including:

One of the key pieces of Governor Brown’s legislation is:

"...the beginning investment in a six-year program to create universal home visits for new parents."

The Beaverton Valley Times interviewed Patrick Allen, the director of the Oregon Health Authority, who reportedly expressed excitement at the prospect of requiring home visits of all new parents, including adoptive parents:

"When the program is complete, every new parent — this includes adoptions — would receive a series of two or three visits by someone like a nurse or other health care practitioner.

The visits could include basic health screenings for babies; hooking parents up with primary care physicians; linking them to other services; and coordinating the myriad childhood immunizations that babies need."

Allen made it clear that they were targeting all children, not just troubled families:

“This isn’t something for people in trouble. This is stuff all kids need.” Allen said."

What about the 4th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, which the Cornell Law School states “originally enforced the notion that ‘each man’s home is his castle,’” and says:

EU Copyright Reform Passes [3-26-19] - "A Massive Blow To The Internet" ...Is the Reality

Controversial European copyright laws passed in an EU vote today, could have major knock-on effects for the internet

[excerpted] Both Article 13 and Article 11 - which critics have said could be the ‘death of the internet’ - were passed by 348 votes to 274.

Julia Reda, an MEP from the Pirate Party, said: “Dark day for internet freedom: The @Europarl_EN has rubber-stamped copyright reform including #Article13 and #Article11.

“MEPs refused to even consider amendments.

In response...Google said there was “legal uncertainty” surrounding the latest version of the Copyright Directive but it had improved. The search engine giant said: “The details matter and we look forward to working with policy-makers, publishers, creators and rights holders, as EU member states move to implement these new rules.”

While campaign group Open Knowledge described the news as a “massive blow” to the internet.

Catherine Stihler, the group’s chief executive, said: “We now risk the creation of a more closed society at the very time we should be using digital advances to build a more open world where knowledge creates power for the many, not the few.”

Europe passes controversial online copyright reforms

[excerpted] Article 11, which has been dubbed the “link tax,” stipulates that websites pay publishers a fee if they display excerpts of copyrighted content — or even link to it. This could obviously have major ramifications for services such as Google News. Then there is Article 13, dubbed the “upload filter,” which would effectively make digital platforms legally liable for any copyright infringements on their platform.

EU’s Parliament Signs Off on Disastrous Internet Law: What Happens Next?

[Electronic Frontier Foundation EFF - excerpted] In a stunning rejection of the will of five million online petitioners, and over 100,000 protestors this weekend, the European Parliament has abandoned common-sense and the advice of academics, technologists, and UN human rights experts, and approved the Copyright in the Digital Single Market Directive in its entirety.

Unlike EU Regulations like the GDPR, which become law on passage by the central EU institutions, EU Directives have to be transposed: written into each member country’s national law. Countries have until 2021 to transpose the Copyright Directive, but EU rarely keeps its members to that deadline, so it could take even longer.

We can expect media and rightsholders to lobby for the most draconian possible national laws, then promptly march to the courts to extract fines whenever anyone online wanders over its fuzzy lines. The Directive is written so that any owner of copyrighted material can demand satisfaction from an Internet service ... from dropping links to European news sites entirely, to upping their already over-sensitive filtering systems, or seeking to strike deals with key media conglomerates...
