Mormons are Christians, says Osteen
Texas mega-church pastor Joel Osteen says he believes Mormons are Christians.
The statement came yesterday in Washington in response to a reporter's questions about politics. Osteen said he likes Texas Governor Rick Perry and prays for his candidacy in the GOP presidential candidate race. But Osteen said he also disagreed with a fellow Texas pastor -- Robert Jeffress -- who recently stated that Perry's political opponent, Mitt Romney, was "not a Christian" because he is a Mormon, and that Mormonism is a "cult."
In a video posted by The Washington Times Osteen states that while he did not know whether Mormonism is the "purest form of Christianity," he has heard Romney say that Jesus is the Son of God and is his Savior -- and that is one of the "core issues," the pastor concludes.
(note that he brings Catholicism on board too)

The coming one world religion of Antichrist will require cross-acceptance of the various world religions [here]. That explains what this is all about. The "Mormons are Christian" propaganda is going to be very prominent from here on out. If you would not be deluded by the 'spirit of antichrist', it would be wise to know for yourself how unscriptural Mormonism really is by knowing a least a few facts about...
What Mormonism Teaches CARM
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, known as the Mormons, teaches that God the father used to be a man on another planet, that he became a God by following the laws and ordinances of that God on that planet and came to this world with his wife (she became a goddess), and that they produce a spirit offspring in heaven. These spirit offspring, which includes Jesus, the devil, and you and me, are all brothers and sisters born in the preexistence. The preexistence spirits come down and inhabit babies at the time of birth and their memories of the preexistence are lost at the time. Furthermore, faithful Mormons, who pay a full 10% tithe of their income to the Mormon church through Mormon temples, have the potential of becoming gods of their own planets and are then able to start the procedure over again.
Jesus and Satan are spirit brothers and were all born as siblings in heaven to them both, (Mormon Doctrine, p. 163).
God used to be a man on another planet, (Mormon Doctrine, p. 321; Joseph Smith, Times and Seasons, vol. 5, p. 613-614; Orson Pratt, Journal of Discourses, vol. 2, p. 345; Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, vol. 7, p. 333).
God the Father had a Father, (Joseph Smith, History of the Church, vol. 6, p. 476; Heber C. Kimball, Journal of Discourses, vol. 5, p. 19; Milton Hunter, First Council of the Seventy, Gospel through the Ages, p. 104-105).
After you become a good Mormon, you have the potential of becoming a god, (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 345-347, 354.)
There is a mother god, (Articles of Faith, by James Talmage, p. 443).

In the book of Jude the Word of God speaks of a time when apostate teachers would virtually 'overwhelm the system', so to speak, completely taking over the outward visible professing Christian church and utterly corrupting it. These are described as.."ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ." [Jude 4].
Many have suggested that as the Book of Jude is located right before the Book of Revelation in the canon of scripture that Jude is giving us the precise condition that we should expect to find immediately prior to the events described in the Revelation.
Joel Osteen is fulfilling Jude's prophecy. In equating Christianity and the Mormon religion, which is actually an outright denial of true biblical Christianity, especially with regard to the attributes of God and the deity of Christ, Osteen is now openly "denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ". There is no way around it.
It should be pointed out that Jude also speaks of the end of these ungodly men who make themselves out to be teachers only to eventually deny all revealed truth - he says these are those "to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever" [Jude 13].
Osteen is only one of legion though. It is happening on absolutely every side. For the record, we are not surprised. We knew it would happen because the bible says so. We are in the days of Jude, believers. Hold fast. And professors that don't know your bibles, learn and believe the Word of God that ye be not led also into the blackness of darkness forever by these apostates on every side. Rev. 18:4
