Rhode Island To Shutdown Government For 12 Days?
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Rhode Island will shut down its state government for 12 days and trim millions of dollars in funding for local governments under a plan Gov. Don Carcieri proposed Monday to balance a budget hammered by surging unemployment and plummeting tax revenue.
At least 19 other state governments have proposed furloughing workers or shutting down government offices to save money amid the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression, according to a survey by the National Conference of State Legislatures.

re: shutting down government
What is really going on here? The answer is...'going global'. While this is, of course, a massive undertaking, the basic strategy unfolding here is not difficult to understand. What you are seeing is a simple case of 'out with the old' - i.e. state government, and 'in with the new - i.e. the communitarian model of world government. This is that, and while the government shutdown in Rhode Island is at this time still a proposal, nevertheless, as the song and dance is the same in at least 19 other states, the agenda is now reaching the critical stages.

The possibility of expediting the whole program with some well timed 'pandemic' chaos [ordo ab chao] and all that would involve (here) is not at all out of the question either. Be informed.

Global regional government at the local level will be a community-based system of management. This community based system will be essentially the same worldwide. The affairs of the state governments are to be shifted to the individual communities. This will be of necessity, they will say, because the states are 'bankrupt', and no longer able to provide the particular services. This is the one world government plan called Agenda 21. Another name for it is 'communitarianism' (community-communism). [see post; follow links, connect dots]
