Below are some excerpts from House Bill 2664 presently in the Hawaii State House of Representatives which would delegate the Governor new power and the authority to declare an "emergency proclamation" in the event of some sort of "disaster" (itemized in 2nd quote e.g. "massive oil spills(?), civil disturbances", etc. and note also the phrase "but not limited to"), which would then grant the authority to assume this new power "without limitations".

"All provisions of law that relate to disasters resulting from enemy attacks during such period are made applicable to other disaster relief, including without limitation, provisions making or authorizing appropriations or expenditures[.]; provided that, in order to exercise the powers authorized under this chapter and chapter 128 for disasters not caused by an enemy attack, the governor shall first find and declare through an emergency proclamation that tangible and measurable harm or damage has resulted as a consequence of the disaster and that the disaster relief could not otherwise be achieved through legislation enacted in the next occurring regular session of the legislature or a special session of the legislature called by the governor for the purpose of providing for such relief."

"Other disaster relief" means the preparation for and the carrying out of all functions, other than functions for which military forces are primarily responsible, to minimize and repair injury and damage resulting from disasters caused by fire, flood, tidal wave, volcanic eruption, earthquake, or other natural causes and major disasters caused by acts of man, including but not limited to, massive oil spills, nuclear accidents, airplane crashes, and civil disturbances.

"Tangible and measurable harm or damage" means harm or damage that has already occurred and that, unless immediately acted upon, would otherwise be irreparable, result in the imminent loss of life, or pose an immediate health or safety hazard to humans or the environment."

First the court decision, and now the "experts" are beginning to "weigh in" with some timely rhetoric, and it is appearing evident that the battle lines are being drawn. Who do the children belong to? It is not difficult to discern the strategy of the globalists if you understand the "end goal" which is very simple really: absolute authority over every aspect of life on the planet....and do not for a minute think that it is anything less. They may take the proverbial "two steps forward, one step back" approach at times but progress toward the goal is always accomplished, as is now beginning to happen in the 'homeschooling arena'. All children must be "indoctrinated" for life in the planned global communities, aka "sustainable communities". Can you say 666?

This is much bigger than just the issue at hand i.e. homeschooling. Take note and look at the 'bigger picture'. Be not unaware, but informed, and have an understanding of the far-reaching implications of these things. Times they are a changin'...and not for the better!

Southern Baptist leaders shift position on climate change: cnn

(CNN) -- Several prominent leaders in the Southern Baptist Convention said Monday that Baptists have a moral responsibility to combat climate change -- a major shift within a denomination that just last year cast doubt on human responsibility for global warming.

"The signatories pledged to do their part to fight global warming "without any further lingering over the basic reality of the problem or our responsibility to address it. Humans must be proactive and take responsibility for our contributions to climate change -- big and small."

The signatories include Frank Page, president of the Southern Baptist Convention since 2006; James Merritt, president of the convention from 2000 to 2002 and Jack Graham, president of the convention from 2002 to 2004. The group posted the statement on its Web site.

The latest federal menace to private property rights comes as the “Clean Water Restoration Act” (CWRA) of 2007.This bill, sponsored by Sen. Russell Feingold, D-Wis., and Rep. James Oberstar, D-Minn., would “restore” federal powers of the Clean Water Act, previous to two U.S. Supreme Court decisions. The decisions in 2001 and 2006 limited the definition of “navigable waters” and the corresponding scope of federal jurisdiction to exclude isolated non-navigable waters.In actuality, the CWRA would expand federal jurisdiction far beyond the scope of the original Clean Water Act by striking “Navigable waterways of the United States” and replacing it with “Waters of the United States.”

This phrase is then further defined as “all waters subject to the ebb and flow of the tide, the territorial seas and all interstate and intrastate waters and their tributaries, including lakes, rivers, streams (including intermittent streams), mudflats, sandflats, wetlands, sloughs, prairie potholes, wet meadows, playa lakes, natural ponds and all impoundments of the foregoing to the fullest extent that these waters or activities affecting these waters are subject to the legislative power of Congress under the Constitution.”

The CWRA is recognized by concerned interest groups as the biggest federal power grab in our nation's history.

The bill's reference to “activities affecting these waters” could enable federal agencies to assume authorities over not just water but land and air as well. In addition, ACSI is telling attendees of the Early Education Conference on April 19, 2008 to read Henri Nouwen's book, In the Name of Jesus for preparation for the conference.1 (p. 3) Now, we are sorry to report that ACSI is recommending to its 5300 member schools Brian McLaren's A New Kind of Christian. McLaren, who has made many public statements that attempt to derail biblical Christianity, is part of the emerging church movement.

In addition to the McLaren recommendation, ACSI president Ken Smitherman speaks favorably of emerging leader and mysticism proponent Rob Bell's book, Velvet Elvis. Bell shows in that book his propensity toward the New Age by calling Ken Wilber's book, A Brief History of Everything , "mindblowing," telling readers to spend three months studying it. 2

This is a critically important development for anybody in anyway connected with the ACSI. This includes not only students and parents, but teachers, administrators, and churches that have ACSI accredited schools. That the ACSI system has been completely taken over by the "emerging church" could not be anymore clear than is seen here. The emerging church materials are being promoted to all member schools by no less than the president of the organization himself.

Unfortunately, it appears that the time has come to start looking for the door. Your schools have been betrayed into the hands of the enemy!

Are Christian colleges still "Christian" or have they all been infiltrated by the new "emerging" global spirituality, which has now already leavened all of 'Christendom'. It may be ignorant of us to assume that the Christian schools/colleges would be left out of the equation for the harmonizing of the world's religions. On April 5th, The Moses Code film will be released in a "unique synchronized worldwide opening" 1, just a few weeks after this week's release of the book with the same title. The book and film without a doubt will become best sellers with expected promotion by Oprah Winfrey and others. The book/film is following the release of last year's The Secret, which has remained on the New York Times Best Seller list for over 59 weeks. The Secret, also a book/film, was highly promoted by Oprah and carries a similar-type message. In essence, both projects focus on humanity being divine and having the ability to alter our personal lives and ultimately alter the world in which we live through hidden mysteries that the projects supposedly reveal.

A 'hedzup'....the "great whore that sitteth upon many waters" (Rev. 17:1) is also hard at work alongside the global politicians to establish the "new order" and to dominate the populations of the earth for Satan. Here you can discern the outworking of the strategy: Get them 'drunk'! Once they've 'had a few', they'll go right along with the whole thing:

Rev. 17:2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

The bible says they will be made drunk with "her wine". Her "wine" is the lying seduction that speaks of men as being divine. This is what is (drunken) driving this erratic deceptive movement they are referring to as an "awakening". You must be aware of these things, e.g. new book/movie, and warn others so that they will not also be "made drunk" by imbibing on these seductive heresies. These are very serious and dramatic developments because it is no longer the fringe but has become mainstream. Your friends, family, and kids, are all at risk.

A "global coalition" is exactly what the prophet Daniel was speaking of in the seventh chapter of the book of Daniel....the time when the fourth beast with the "great iron teeth" (Dan. 7:7) would subjugate the entire earth and break it into pieces (aka regions):

"Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. (Dan. 7:23)

There will be ten 'pieces' eventually:

"And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them...." (Dan. 7:24a).

Another 'king' shall arise from among the ten, we are told:

"And he shall speak great words against the most High...." (Dan. 7:25a)

That eleventh 'king' can be none other than the one called "Antichrist". When the "global coalition" is formed, the regions will be decided and the final world ruler will then make his stage appearance.

Not so much the opinions, which are quite common unfortunately, but for the attaching of a "christian profession" to them. Many undiscerning 'religious' people will be caught up by the rhetoric and be deceived by such 'Obama-nations'. Truly the days are evil when the gospel of Jesus Christ is openly and shamelessly blasphemed at the highest levels of government.

Consider this as a "midnight cry" if you will! Look around, survey the horizon, it's pitch black spiritually and politically. The bridegroom cometh! Every person who "names the name of Christ" will fall into one of these two classes: "wise" or "foolish", as designated by the Lord Jesus Christ himself. Where do you personally, Mr./Ms. Christian 2008, stand? Are you bound up with this world and it's pursuits, or are you separated from this world unto the heavenly calling (Heb. 3:1) and the person of Christ Jesus the Lord and Saviour? You may not have both, for it's not an earthly but a heavenly calling, an either/or proposition. What can be more important than to be certain as to whether or not I've got a 'vessel' and 'oil' for that vessel. Answer: nothing! (The foolish had neither)

In many quarters it has become fashionable to pour contempt upon the idea of plenary inspiration. It is looked upon as the veriest childishness and ignorance. It is regarded by many as a great proof of profound scholarship, breadth of mind, and original thinking to he able, by free criticism, to find out flaws in the precious volume of God. Men presume to sit in judgment upon the Bible as though it were a mere human composition. they undertake to pronounce upon what is, and what is not, worthy of God. In fact they do, virtually, sit in judgement upon God Himself. The present result is, as might be expected, utter darkness and confusion, both for those learned doctors themselves, and for all who are so foolish as to listen to them. And as for the future, who can conceive the eternal destiny of all those who shall have to answer before the judgement seat of Christ for the sin of blaspheming the word of God, and leading hundreds (of thousands? ed.) astray by their infidel teaching?
