The U.S. Food and Drug Administration warned four manufacturers that the caffeine added to their malt alcoholic beverages is an "unsafe food additive" and said that further action, including seizure of their products, is possible under federal law.
The beverages are dangerous, officials said, because of the caffeine.
Without the normal cues of high alcohol consumption, consumers of the drinks could face alcohol poisoning.
"These are not your ordinary beers -- they have supersized alcoholic content,"
"One can of (alcoholic energy drink) Four Loko contains as much alcohol as four or five beers."

As much alcohol as four or five beers mixed with caffeine? Every bar and/or restaurant in the country sells the very same thing every night to multitudes of patrons. The only difference is they call it a 'rum-coke'. The fact that some young people have, it is claimed, alcohol-poisoned themselves with the stuff is also a false justification for enacting a federal ban. There is certainly not a weekend goes by that nationwide any number of alcohol poisoning cases could be cited, without the use of any so-called "alcohol energy drinks".
Last week it was corpses on cigarette boxes. The week before it was the happy-meal ban in San Francisco. Not to mention the now mandatory strip searches/sexual assault at airports.
No, what is happening here is just another scripted scenario put forth by the Bureau of Propaganda. It is a a public display by the NWO-ers for 'dictatorship-conditioning' purposes.
