The 'follow up' link above has two articles posted which both appeared after 'Superstorm Sandy' wreaked havoc on the East Coast, primarily by it's "modern record" "storm surge" - a 14-foot wall of water the likes of which had never been seen previously as the result of a hurricane. But no sooner than this 'storm surge' precedent had been set, the claim is now made that this type of event is actually to be seen as something of a 'new normal' due to, of course, global warming; and that 'coastal inundation' as a result of superstorm hurricane-cyclones, hereafter to be known as "Black Swans", should be expected across the globe - with up to even thirty-foot 'surges'. The second article claims that "new research" suggests possible 26' East Coast tsunamis "from a variety of sources", even though if this were to happen it would be highly irregular, except for global warming that is.
Strange how tsunamis are becoming, and in fact have already become more commonplace than ever before in recorded history. Might even be a cause to wonder if tsunamis and/or 'storm surges' can be 'geoengineered'?
Well, oddly enough, a popular children's cartoon show from 1999/2000 that is currently being re-aired just so happens to demonstrate the 'geoengineering' of a tsunami. And even more interesting is that the way it is shown precisely matches what was revealed in a thirteen year old article published in the New Zealand Herald [dated 9-25-99], reporting on the New Zealand government's declassifying of files detailing secret testing of explosive-generated tsunamis, i.e. 'tsunami bombs', in the 1940's. This tsunami-making program was called "Project Seal":
(excerpted) Top-secret wartime experiments were conducted off the coast of Auckland to perfect a tidal wave bomb, declassified files reveal...An Auckland University professor seconded to the Army set off a series of underwater explosions triggering mini-tidal waves at Whangaparaoa in 1944 and 1945.
Details of the tsunami bomb, known as Project Seal, are contained in 53-year-old documents released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade...Papers stamped "top secret" show the US and British military were eager for Seal to be developed in the post-war years too. They even considered sending Professor Leech to Bikini Atoll to view the US nuclear tests* and see if they had any application to his work.
A former colleague of Professor Leech, Neil Kirton, told the Weekend Herald that the experiments involved laying a pattern of explosives underwater to create a tsunami. It is unclear what happened to Project Seal once the final report was forwarded to Wellington Defence Headquarters late in the 1940s.
The bomb was never tested on a full scale, and Mr Kirton doubts that Aucklanders would have noticed the trials..."Whether it could ever be resurrected ... Under some circumstances I think it could be devastating." [see 'report' below]

In this particular episode [see below], the plot has an underwater earthquake that has triggered a tsunami which is about to wipe out an oil derrick and then continue until it reaches the coast of Chile. Nothing too hard for the "Rescue Heroes" though, they conceive a plan to use explosives to trigger a counter-tsunami traveling in the opposite direction so the two tsunamis will cancel each other out:

According to the New Zealand government's declassified Project Seal report (referenced article linked above) 'geoengineered' tsunamis are more than feasible, and have in fact been successfully created, although the claim is that tsunami bombs had, at that time, almost seventy years ago [1944-45], never been tested to the full.

SUMMARY
The project "SEAL" had its origin in a request of the Commander South Pacific Area (COMSOPAC) during April l9th, to the New Zealand Government for an investigation into the potentialities of offensive inundation by waves generated by means of explosives. During the period from February to April 1944 exploratory trials in New Caledonia indicated that there were reasonable prospects of developing techniques for favourable sites. The request incorporated two phases - the development of techniques, and the application of these to a trial upon an operational scale. Owing to changes in policy at a later date, the second part was cancelled.
The work was carried out by the 24th Army Troops Company, New Zealand Engineers with the co-operation of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, The U.S. Navy and the Royal New Zealand Navy between the 6th June, 1944, and the 8th January 1945. Some 3,700 experiments were carried out with charges ranging from 0.06 lb. to 600 lb. in weight T.N.T was used generally. . . . although C.E., nitro-starch and gelginite were used in some cases.
On the 25th July l946, the second atom bomb trial took place at Bikini Atoll*, under conditions permitting of direct comparisons with forecasts based upon the work of the "SEAL" Unit. These forecasts were verified within the limits of experimental error. [see 'Wiki' below]
The investigations lead to the conclusion that offensive inundation is possible under favourable circumstances. Given low lying forshores and a shelving bottom off-shore, wave amplitudes of the order of those for recorded tidal waves, which have been disastrous, can be obtained. While T.N.T. or other explosives can be used, the engineering work specially involved introduces difficulties of considerable magnitude. The use of atomic bombs as multiple charges may be more practicable. The following matters of detail have been established:

INTRODUCTION
1.1 ORIGIN OF PROJECT:
Project "Seal", or the investigation of the potentialities of inundation by means of artificially produce[d] tidal* waves arose from a suggestion made by wing Commander E.A. Gibson to Lieutenant General Sir Edward Puttick, Chief of General Staff (N,Z.) on the 13th January 1942. The former had noted, whilst engaged upon surveys in the Pacific Area during the period 1936 to 1952, that blasting operations upon submerged coral formations occasionally were attended by unexpectedly large waves.
2.1 NEW CALEDONIAN EXPERIMENTS
It was decided to test the suggestion by ad hoc trials...Exploratory work was undertaken...
2.2 The results were incorporated in a report dated 31st March 1944, which was approved by Admiral Halsey and transmitted by him to the New Zealand Chiefs of Staff with a request that New Zealand undertake further investigations,as shown by the following extracts: -
"The results of these experiments, in my opinion, show that inundation in amphibious warfare has definite and far reaching possibilities as an offensive weapon, It would be very desirable to have further developments carried out to establish a practicable method and procedure which could be used in offensive warfare.
*The word "Tidal" is not strictly correct. However since the objective was the production of effects similar to those produced by naturally occurring tidal waves, the adjective has been used for the want of a better word.

5.1 SCOPE OF WORK AT WHANGAPAROA
5.4 The use of multiple charges suitably located to conform with geometrical patterns was found to give superior results not only as regards wave amplitudes, but in certain cases pronounced directional effects were produced. In all these cases the resultant wave amplitudes were sensitive to charge spacing, and charge location. The shape of the charge was also important.

(g) With charges of T.N.T, of the order of 2,000 tons divided into, say, ten equal amounts and suitably disposed, wave amplitudes of the order of 30 to 40 ft, are within the bounds of possibility at distances approximating 5 miles off-shore, given favourable and commonly found sea-bottoms.
(f) In 1944 the detonation of large masses of explosive presented a major unsolved problem. However, subsequent developments have shown that this need not be regarded as a serious problem.

SECTION I.
THE GENERATION OF WAVE SYSTEMS.
INTRODUCTION:
Three methods of generating wave systems have been examined:-
(a) Waves produced by an impulse at the surface, which may take the form of mechanical impact by a solid or the expansion of a gas near the water surface.
(b) Waves produced by the expansion of the gas bubble resulting from the explosion of a submerged charge.
(c) Waves produced by the action of a relatively slow displacement under the water surface.
1.2 The first method is discussed in detail in this report. The impact of a solid body, or of the gas liberated by an explosion, with the water surface creates a cavity surrounded by an elevated fringe of water from which the wave system develops, Early work in New Caledonia with 600 lb. depth charges fired at depths varying from 150 to 600 ft. produced disappointing results, and these observations led to the detailed examination of this method, '
1.31 The second method has been considered theoretically by Penny (l) (Appendix II), and Kirkwood (2). Restricted experimental work (3, 4, 5, 6, 7) has been carried out in the United Kingdom and United States of America. Further experimental work upon this method of wave generation is discussed in this report and many hitherto obscure points have been in part clarified. The critical discussion of the New Zealand work in (7) was based upon rough exploratory experiments, and is therefore no longer applicable.
1.32 When a charge is fired at a considerable depth a gas bubble is formed which expands beyond an equilibrium condition (3, 8), and given sufficient depth it will contract again beyond a second equilibrium condition. For great depths it will expand again and the cycle will be repeated successively until the bubble breaks through the water surface. Just prior to breaking the surface (venting) a dome is formedand the water thus elevated brings about the initial development of the surface wave system. After venting a cavity is formed which upon collapse gives rise to the second phase of the wave system. At considerable distances from the source of the two phases, a wave group is formed.

Perhaps the writers of the Rescue Heroes had access to this report, for the manner in which they depicted their man-made tsunami correlates exactly to what is found here. Namely multiple charges, strategically placed, with directional capability - all specifically mentioned above; and especially the way in which the eruption of the explosive charge at the water's surface was illustrated by an expanding "bubble" forming into a "dome", then turning into the "surface wave" itself - exactly as described in section (b) and 1.31 and 1.32 directly above. The Rescue Heroes cartoon is 'scientifically' accurate in every way in other words.
*Noteworthy also are the two mentions of the Bikini Atoll tests, one in the New Zealand Herald news article posted above, and the second in the quote from the summary (pg 3 of 30) of the Project Seal report itself. In 1946 the Bikini Atoll was the site of a military operation called "Operation Crossroads". The two references reveal that the tests involved in Project Seal and Operation Crossroads were related. The 'Crossroads' testing is described in this next few paragraphs. Taking a moment to carefully read this is worthwhile as the description is fascinating, giving some specific details on the "gas bubble" effect:
Wiki: "Operation Crossroads was a series of nuclear weapon tests conducted by the United States at Bikini Atoll in mid-1946...Crossroads consisted of two detonations, each with a yield of 23 kilotons of TNT (96 TJ): Able was detonated at an altitude of 520 feet (160 m) on July 1, 1946; Baker was detonated 90 feet (27 m) underwater on July 25, 1946. A third burst, Charlie, planned for 1947, was canceled primarily because of the Navy's inability to decontaminate the target ships after the Baker test.
[Baker test] The underwater fireball took the form of a rapidly expanding hot "gas bubble" that pushed against the water, generating a supersonic hydraulic shock wave which crushed the hulls of nearby ships as it spread out. Eventually it slowed to the speed of sound in water, which is one mile per second, five times faster than that of sound in air.[60] On the surface, the shock wave was visible as the leading edge of a rapidly expanding ring of dark water, called the "slick" for its resemblance to an oil slick.[61] Close behind the slick was a visually more dramatic, but less destructive whitening of the water surface called the "crack."
When the gas bubble's diameter equaled the water depth, 180 feet (55 m), it hit the sea floor and the sea surface simultaneously. At the bottom, it started digging a shallow crater, ultimately 30 feet (9 m) deep and 2,000 feet (610 m) wide.[63] At the top, it pushed the water above it into a "spray dome," which burst through the surface like a geyser. Elapsed time since detonation was four milliseconds.[64] During the first full second, the expanding bubble removed all the water within a 500-foot (152 m) radius and lifted two million tons[65] of spray and seabed sand into the air. As the bubble rose at 2,500 feet per second (762 m/s),[66] it stretched the spray dome into a hollow cylinder or chimney of spray called the "column," 6,000 feet (1,829 m) tall, 2,000 feet (610 m) wide, and with walls 300 feet (91 m) thick.
Meanwhile, lagoon water rushing back into the space vacated by the rising gas bubble started a tsunami-like water wave which lifted the ships as it passed under them. At 11 seconds after detonation, the first wave was 1,000 feet (305 m) from surface zero and 94 feet (29 m) high. [68] By the time it reached the Bikini Island beach, 3.5 miles (6 km) away, it was a nine-wave set with shore breakers up to 15 feet (5 m) high, which tossed landing craft onto the beach and filled them with sand.[69]"
--------------------------------------------------------------- According to the report, Project Seal was put back on the shelf after only a few years despite the prognosis of "devastating" potential. Quoting from the report summary (above), the final analysis was that "wave amplitudes of the order of those for recorded tidal waves, which have been disastrous, can be obtained". Exactly how big that might be is revealed in the quoted section from pg. 16 of the PDF (above), estimating "wave amplitudes of the order of 30 to 40 ft". The Bikini Atoll testing produced at least one significant wave, reported to be 94 feet at "surface zero", as described above, and that with only a single charge. How much more would be possible with multiple charges is not hard to imagine. Again, all this was 65-70 years ago, and apparently there is no other "declassified" information available as to how far tsunami-making science, if there is still any such thing of course, has advanced in this day and age.
But that information is not really needed because if giant storm surges from 'Superstorms', or Black Swan super-cyclones, or tsunamis inundate coastal areas, and forward Agenda 21 goals*, even though it never happened before, it is due to global warming. What else could it be.Rev. 18:4

It is of the utmost importance for the Christian reader to bear in mind that, whatever be the condition of the professing Church, it is his privilege to enjoy as high communion and to tread as high a path of individual devotedness as ever was known in the very brightest days of the Church's history. We must never draw a plea from the condition of things around us for lowering the standard of individual holiness and devotedness. There is no excuse for continuing a single hour in connection with anything that will not stand the test of Holy Scripture.
