Jesus said the evil end of the age would be as in the "days of Noah" and "days of Lot."
In both of those Biblical examples, evil society had passed beyond the point of no return and God intervened, saving only a remnant.
Ironically, today "days of Lot" sodomites have usurped and perverted God's "days of Noah" rainbow sign, God's promise that He would never again destroy by water.
Bible prophecy says God will destroy by fire.
The Gog/Magog third world invasion and destruction of all Christian lands is happening now at this evil end of the age. Both Ezekiel 38/39 and Rev 20:9 tell us God will intervene with fire.
There was a prophetic 1973 French book about the invasion and destruction of Europe by third worlders. The title of that book, "The Camp of the Saints", was taken from the Revelation Gog/Magog verse, Rev 20:9.

Have to oppose this viewpoint/eschatology, Cyrus, that is so prevalent these days...as being a massive hoax. What is playing out on the world stage today 2016 is absolutely not the biblically foretold Gog-Magog scenario - that is impossible, but is in fact an incredibly elaborate hoax to deceive the entire world into believing it is. The "jews" who now occupy God's ancient holy land are Rev 2:9 & Rev 3:9 "synagogue of satan." They are NOT Israelites. They are descendants of Edomites who lost a war against Israel in the 2nd century BC, then "converted" en masse so they could continue to live within the Kingdom of Israel. These Edomite-jews began to usurp and destroy the Kingdom of Israel. Herod [who was an Edomite-jew, NOT an Israelite] allied with Rome to conquer Jerusalem in 37BC. Rome declared Herod king of Judea. Herod also totally destroyed the second temple [the one Cyrus decreed built after the Babylonian captivity.] Herod even removed the foundation stones to rebuild Herod's third temple. Herod tried to murder God's Temple made without hands, Jesus Christ, when he murdered the babes of Bethlehem.
The irony of history is... Edom was the enemy of Israel throughout the OT and NT. Edomites allied with Babylon to destroy Jerusalem and the first temple; then they occupied part of the holy land while Israelites were in the Babylonian captivity. I read your previous Gog/Magog article. I thought I read that you believe [as I do] that Ezekiel 38/39 and Rev 20:9 are the same event [OT/NT giving us a double witness.] In Ezekiel 38/39 God says He sent Gog against His own people [ie, Christians] because of their rebellious sins. God uses Gog as He used Pharaoh, to manifest Himself to His people and the entire world. God is manifest via His fire from heaven that destroys Gog/Magog, the satanic red dragon of Rev 12 who is making war against God's remnant [Rev 20's camp of the saints.] Then the resurrection of the dead and the new heaven and new earth.
The national resurrection of all 12 tribes of Christian-Israel in Ezekiel 37 and the Rev 20 millennium reign of God's people with Christ both come before the Gog/Magog event. This was the church age when God's people [the true descendants of ancient Israelites who had been scattered into Europe and Asia since the 8th century BC] embraced Christianity and Christ ruled in Christian nations. All that was destroyed when satan was released and now Gog/Magog's satanic heathen hordes have invaded and are destroying all [former] Christian nations. We are now very close to the second coming of Christ. As Daniel 12:7 says... when the power of God's holy people is totally broken, all will the finished. We are there.

Your eschatology is a complete confusion of scripture. What you have here is just another distorted amillennialism - claiming for instance that the Rev. 20 1000 yr. period is now past, that this was "church age" - the "national resurrection of Christian-Israel", so on and so forth -- all fulfilling Rev. 20 -- which all means that the 2nd coming is near. All of which could not possibly be more incorrect...that is totally false.
Your interpretations show no understanding of the difference between the nation of Israel and the NT church, i.e. the body of Christ. Any attempt to interpret scripture without this distinction can only result in compounded error. Error upon error...upon error...in other words.
Gog Magog - no we are not there. Not even close. The second coming is not yet near. The pre-trib rapture of the bride the body of Christ, then the tribulation/judgment of the world, ending in Armageddon - all comes first. Then the 1000 yr. - which has not 'already' happened, then the last attack Gog Magog - Rev. 20:7-8 - against the millennial saints of God.
Jews today are talmudic Christ-denying. As for the synagogue of Satan, the false Jews - edomite or khazar or seed of the serpent [John 8:44] - the LORD will deal with all of this in the tribulation. He will separate the elect remnant of Israel out [Isaiah 65:9], open their eyes and bring them to repentance, and bring them through - Ezekiel 20:33-44. The rest will see His wrath.
Where we are now is shown in this post: 10 kings shall arise. What is explained there is that before the coming Antichrist global-kingdom can arise, the existing governmental systems of this world must first be completely destroyed. - This is exactly "where we are" now on the prophetic timeclock.

Anon, if you have no eschatology, you need to get some. First thing to do is forget about "Left Behind"...completely - like it does not exist. The Left Behind series is a fictionalized, sensationalized, total distortion of the biblical doctrine of the imminent return of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Next thing is to take responsibility upon yourself to learn, not to depend on 'the church'. Isaiah 28:9-10 says this:
'Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little'
These scriptures instruct us. How shall one be taught knowledge, and understand doctrine? Two things primarily - if a person has a sincere desire to know truth, he shall need to be (1) 'weaned from the milk, drawn from the breast' - which basically is saying assuming the responsibility to teach yourself (by the Holy Ghost of course), as opposed to, for example, being taught by 'the church'. Must be weaned.
and (2) the only way to do that is to go straight to the scriptures yourself (KJV a must) and dig in. Precept upon precept, line upon line is the only way correct doctrine can ever be learned. This takes work. It takes study and more study. There is no other way.
