Commissioning of portraits for outgoing presidents began in 1962, reportedly. Nothing like the one done of 'Obama', or anything close to it, has ever been seen though. Outright strange obviously. All have seen it no doubt. Obama sitting on a chair, or strangely floating, seemingly, in 'a garden':

A "marked contrast" to every other presidential-portrait wrote the author of the above article. To say the least. Which raises a question - rhetorical - but exactly how bizarre has this world become when the ex-USA President is 'officially' depicted as, essentially, the "serpent in the garden" i.e. literally the Devil? The 'serpent', an iguana in this instance, is added, with all three images together making very clear the intent. The "Washington Declaration" was unveiled after two days of collaboration among hundreds of interfaith leaders who gathered for the three-day "Alliance of Virtue" conference...Along with calling for unity and the promotion of religious freedom, the declaration calls for four courses of action.

- First, it calls for the establishment of an "Alliance of Virtue" to implement the Washington Declaration.

- Second, it calls for the provision of over 1 billion meals to feed impoverished and underserved communities throughout the world.

- Additionally, the declaration calls for a multi-religious body consisting of prominent religious figures to "support mediation and reconciliation."

- Finally, the declaration calls for the creation of an interfaith committee to adopt the recommendations laid out in the declaration that "reflects the fullness of diversity in our communities and across the world."

Just a few things. First, the title of this post may seem to be 'too much', but it is not. It is actually exactly what is being here declared, i.e. "an incredibly historic gathering that sets the stage for what is truly a new era of cooperation"...etc., by, note, the 'Rabbi'. Next note the four courses of action called for: The first is to put in place a definite plan to see 'The Declaration' through to full implementation. Walgreens is changing its policy to allow customers to use bathrooms that correspond with their gender identity.

The drugstore chain's new policy comes after a woman said she was told she couldn't use the women's bathroom at a Walgreens in Hollywood due to her appearance, the Los Angeles Times reported.

About two months later, Amanda Goad, a staff attorney for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), wrote to Walgreens ... The chain then adopted a new policy nationwide, it confirmed to the Times.

The chain said the policy applied to everyone, although it was targeted toward transgender individuals.

As most are aware the next market day the following Monday 2-5-18 the stock market had the biggest one-day drop in history down 1175. Look what we can do. The 33-666 followed by a new record-loss day apparently was not 'fun and games' enough though so here now the very next day Tuesday 2-6-18 seems that a little more 'fun-with-numbers' was called for the result being as seen - a matching high-low reverse-o. The Muslim denieth that Jesus is the Christ; the Jew denieth that Jesus is the Christ [the Jew has a Talmudic self-invented god-concept they call 'Hashem'...which is defined according to their own minds - Rom. 10:3 (see: 'tikkun olam')]; the Buddhist does not even believe in an actual "God" at all; and the Catholic has no true conception whatsoever that "Jesus is the Christ". The Catholic 'jesus' is a body hanging on a cross on the wall of the church building (or around their neck) while praying "Hail Mary" and "Our Father" and offering other prayers to various 'saints' [Matt. 28:5-6]. The reality of that is that it is in fact no different from every other world religion. They also...have not "the Son".

The scripture is absolutely clear on this point. Whatever the creed, it matters not: "Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father". This is very straightforward and has only one possible interpretation: These world religions, not a one, "hath the Father" - meaning then - they simply do not have God at all [Jeremiah 10:10] - meaning - they all have the only other option i.e. the counterfeit - *the god of this world - who assumes any form [2 Cor. 4:4].

[updated 4-'26]  The Holy Ghost - the third Person of the Godhead. On this subject there is something particularly fascinating with regard to the many so-called modern translations of the Holy Bible. Right to the point it is this: the Holy Ghost is nowhere to be found in them. Most often the name of the Holy Ghost has been replaced by the term Holy Spirit. The significance of this is the subject of this post and is discussed below. Not one non-KJV 'bible' has a single mention of the name "Holy Ghost". Completely gone. The images below demonstrate this, showing the word-search results for "Holy Ghost" in the NIV, NASB, NKJV, and the ESV. Zero zero zero and zero. By contrast, the name "Holy Ghost" is found in the King James Version in 89 verses [90 times total - Acts 19:2 found 2x]:

The subject of the name "Holy Ghost" as opposed to the term Holy Spirit is a well debated issue. As now known after viewing the above images, the Holy Ghost is found in 89 verses in the KJV, only in the New Testament of course. Of course the KJV does not exclusively use only the name "Holy Ghost". It is interesting to note though that the exact term "Holy Spirit" is used only four times in the KJV New Testament. Of these four instances, three times the word holy is lower case, written "holy Spirit". Each of the four are indirect references specific to the context and do not refer to the 'person' of the Holy Ghost. Other references like for example "the Spirit" are used elsewhere. In this we discover a distinction made. This distinction between the name Holy Ghost and Holy Spirit or other references is an important one. Without entering here into the deep-theological contorting that usually accompanies the debate on this topic, ultimately the critical point of the matter has to do with the 'personhood' of the third person of the Godhead. Which is to say that removing the name of "the Holy Ghost" from scripture is ultimately an attack against the 'personhood' of the third Person of the Godhead. How so? Keeping it brief, "the Holy Ghost", rendered exactly that way 90 times out of 90 in the KJV (in 89 verses), is a proper noun. A name of a person, in other words. By contrast, the words 'holy Spirit', or 'the Spirit' - phrased differently often, is not a proper noun and is used variously in scripture.

With careful reading it will not be difficult to ascertain in each specific instance why the KJV says 'the Holy Ghost' in one verse, while in another we read something like "be filled with the Spirit" Eph. 5:18. Generally speaking the answer is the issue of the sovereign actings of the Holy Ghost as God the third Person vs. other references relating to His office and/or 'the power of God' in general. For instance this verse Acts 13:2 "As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them". Now comparing that verse with the above mentioned Ephesians 5:18 "be filled with the Spirit" there is a difference. In Acts 13:2 it is God the Holy Ghost giving a direct command. In Ephesians 5:18 it is a directive to a believer to seek to be filled with "the Spirit". As no person can command the Holy Ghost, the verse cannot then say 'be filled with the Holy Ghost'...as if man could somehow direct the Person of God the Holy Ghost. No, man cannot direct God the Holy Ghost and get himself 'filled' when and if he wants to, but he can yield to and seek to "be filled with the Spirit". And here then is the critical point of the matter: The word 'Spirit' (capitalized), either alone or combined, is always going to be in some manner a reference to the 'power of God', not the person of the Holy Ghost. [cf. Acts 2:4; Romans 8:16,26 "it"]

This important distinction between the use of the name "the Holy Ghost" and all other references to the power or 'Spirit of God' is found only in the KJV. God the third Person who commands and acts sovereignly is clearly identified in the AV Authorized Version as the Holy Ghost. And it is exactly this distinction that is completely stripped away in every other version. This can only be seen as a direct attack on the Person of God the Holy Ghost, as well the triune nature of the Godhead.

There is much more to this subject it should be pointed out, but to go into all of it now is not the purpose here. The main purpose of this post is just to bring to light the fact that the Holy Ghost is missing completely from every non-KJV - and that the use of the term "Holy Spirit' in reference to him as every so-called modern bible does is in fact always totally wrong! Furthermore, the undeniable conclusion has to be that wrongly using the term "Holy Spirit" is in fact invoking what the bible calls "another spirit". Very few have any idea of any such thing as this, but it needs to be realized. And while we're at it another thing that should be realized is that this crucial distinction provides another demonstration of the perfection and beauty of the Word of God found only in the King James Bible.

House and Senate pass bill to reopen government

The House followed the Senate in passing legislation to reopen the government after a weekend-long shutdown 266-150. The Senate vote was 81-18. The measure now goes to President Trump Monday night for his signature, enabling the government to reopen for business Tuesday morning.
