MSNBC: Your Kids Don’t Belong to You
"Narrating a new MSNBC "Lean Forward" spot, the Tulane professor laments that we in America "haven't had a very collective notion that these are our children." "[W]e have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families, and recognize that kids belong to their communities," Harris-Perry argued.
There are no independent actors on the mainstream media circuit. Nobody utters a syllable unless they have been sent to deliver a very specific message. Without a doubt such is the case here. The first thing that must always be done to introduce radical new ideas is the sending forth of the evangelist as a voice in the wilderness to decry the error of the old ways while preaching the message of the 'new and better way': Hear ye hear ye, prepare ye the way of the "collective" - is how the script is reading now. It's not about individualism anymore, 'citizen', it's about the 'common good' - is the mantra.
Everything and everybody is owned by the 'State' is the real message being openly declared here though - albeit it in not so many words...for now. Expect to hear the same theme echoed from every msm outlet from here forward in an ever increasing pattern in the usual dialectic fashion. Ushering in radical change by degree is what the dialectic is for. As this MSNBC piece clearly reveals, the ushering in of the "collective notion" has begun. Be informed and recognize it when you hear it - do not be 'diapraxed'.
