Follow up on: Manmade Earthquakes? 'Maybe We Are' Says UCLA Researcher 10-15-10 ""We call ourselves earthquake engineers, maybe we engineer earthquakes," Dr. Bob Nigbor [UCLA]"

Dozens of earthquakes hit unlikely state of Maine in unusual seismic swarm naturalnews.com
(NaturalNews) Last weekend, a mysterious swarm of earthquake events struck the US state of Maine in what seismic experts have dubbed a "microquake" event. A region not typically prone to earthquakes, portions of Maine allegedly feel a small shake or two in an average year as a result of earth plate movement, but in recent days there have been dozens of shaking events, which has stirred up area residents. And though geologists insist that the earthquakes are nothing to worry about, some locals have expressed concern that the quake swarm might be an atypical precursor to something worse.
According to a recent report in Bangor Daily News*, many area residents living between and around the towns of Belfast and Bucksport where the quakes hit, have been calling authorities with reports of sounds resembling "gunshots and shotgun blasts," as well as reports of their homes shaking and pictures and items falling off walls and shelves. The events have been so strange, in fact, that many residents have been reporting them as explosions rather than earthquakes, implying that there is something uniquely unusual about them compared to normal earthquakes.
*From Bangor Daily News 5-8-11: "“The crust in Maine is still adjusting to the loss of thick ice at the end of the last ice age, and this may be a cause for some earthquakes,” Marvinney said in the release."

re: "explosions rather than earthquakes"
Fast becoming the norm around the world are so-called earthquakes in areas that "are not typically prone to earthquakes", to quote the above article. Not only "microquake events" like this example in Maine, explained by something as ridiculous as 'end of the last ice age adjusting crust', but massive quakes in areas like Haiti and New Zealand for two examples, that are only explained well after-the-fact by the purported discovery of 'faults', we are to believe, heretofore unknown by the brilliant geologists of the world [here].
What is to be made of this? Are these 'seismic events' being engineered, as UCLA researcher Bob Nigbor recently quipped in a seemingly offhand comment? [see 'follow up' at top]
Residents in Maine who are reporting "explosions" would most likely not have any difficulty coming to a conclusion with regard to this 'bomb-quake' vs. 'real-earthquake' question.
The NWO-ers do not play nice. Take note. Rev. 18:4
compare: [bomb-quakes?]: Flashback: Man-Made Earthquakes? Israel, University of Hawaii Simulating Quakes With Explosives 1-24-10 "Israel will create a controlled explosion of 80 tons of explosive material, which will simulate the intensity of a tremor after an earthquake of Magnitude 3."
