Humanoid robots, kung fu masters dazzle in Spring Festival Gala
A team of humanoid robots joined forces with young kung fu artists to deliver a knockout martial arts performance during the China Media Group (CMG) 2026 Spring Festival Gala on Monday [2-16-26]. The robots also used traditional kung fu weapons such as swords and nunchucks, demonstrating impressive speed, balance, coordination and precision as they executed the pulsating performance in style.

Amazing video no question on that. Real or digital state-of-the-art so-called AI-software created though? Millions of YT views comments 99.9% seem to believe it's real. Being promoted as real but no robots have ever been seen that can move like that. It is not a live performance it is a television show - as the above article reveals. Said to be livestreamed but that really means nothing when talking about propaganda. As for being a digital-fakeout there is no question that the software does now exist to do incredible 'deepfake' video. That the above video would be an example of this advanced 'deepfake' tech has to be the case. Incredible as the video looks, the human-robot action scene is nothing new - seen it long before digital deepfakery existed. Compare this famous scene from over sixty years ago back when it was done with film frame by frame - movie 'Jason and the Argonauts' 1963:
