Big Brother Coming To Life: Microsoft Adds Mandatory Age Verification In Latest Windows Update - Testing 'For Now'

The New Era of Privacy? Microsoft’s Mandatory Age Verification in Windows

It seems like the notion of privacy is becoming a relic of the past as Microsoft introduces new mandatory age verification checks in its Windows operating system. This measure essentially locks the once easily accessible ‘Yes’ button in the Admin dialog behind ID and face scans. However, for now, it remains a hidden feature under a feature flag that’s yet to be released to the wider public. But considering the ongoing global discussions surrounding identification laws, it’s plausible that Microsoft might integrate this feature sooner rather than later.

In March 2026, as part of its regular update rollouts, Microsoft introduced cumulative changes. Among the routine improvements and patches was an update to several AI components—a move that suspiciously coincides with the addition of an ‘IdentityVerify’ key in the LogonUI, enhanced with control flags for age verification...

Beyond the technical realm, the philosophical implications are profound. Will webcams soon become mandatory? Seemingly, if you’re offline and unplugged, you’d be locked out of admin actions. The prospect of constantly having one’s ID on hand introduces a fundamental privacy dilemma..

Despite the current imperfections, the implications for the future are undeniable. With relevant legislation, Microsoft could easily deploy this age verification globally. As we stand on the brink of potential rollout, think about what this means for you. [see full article at link]

Not yet rolled out to the general public (when they will decide if you can use your own computer) but they put it in the system.. which has to suggest that it's only a matter of time. Considering especially that Apple just did the exact thing on their latest operating system update - April 2026 - and not a test but a forced requirement for all users starting in certain countries; see:

APPLE LATEST UPDATE Forcing Users To Register Digital ID to Use Internet - UK Australia Brazil Singapore - Utah Louisiana 4-4-26

And then Spain Feb. 2026 vowed to "end online anonymity and link digital ID to users:

It's a worldwide agenda.. digital lockdown. And getting later later later by the day.. Well I won't use Microsoft or Apple - when everything goes digital don't suppose there would be any reason to have Microsoft or Apple would it not all be merged into "the beast system". Logically what else would be expected. Anyway be informed aware it's this far today.. [Rom. 10:13]
