A new kids' clothing company has launched a social media marketing campaign to let boys know that they are #FreeToWearPink.
Quirkie Kids opened in 2014 with the help of a Kickstarter fundraiser to produce a line of children's t-shirts in pink "for girls AND boys." "Our tees feature playful designs of things not typically associated with the color pink," the company's website states. Quirkie Kids believes "ALL kids should be free to wear pink regardless of their gender."

Yes, not too long ago that video was all over the place. And it is exactly as you say, trying to get girls to think of themselves as not being different from boys. At the end it says "rewrite the rules...Always"
This was my response to the commercial when I first saw it:
This commercial is offensive to me! Why? – Because it mocks femininity, the very thing it supposedly is protesting against. I am 64 years old, and in my 64 years of life I have seen very few females, especially those of my generation, who behave like what is portrayed at the beginning of this commercial. This is a ridiculous stunt to try to manipulate female minds into thinking that being feminine is bad, and that women need to be more like men to be true to who they really are.
They imply that the older generation has it all wrong, and that the younger generation has it all right; that the older generation is lying to themselves, while the younger generation is more honest concerning who they really are. How ridiculous! This is an insult to my intelligence! They imply that being feminine means acting like a fool or pretending you can’t do anything, which is usually to get the attention of others. And, it implies that to be true to who we really are that we need to be macho, tough, hard, masculine and muscular.
What we need to teach this younger generation is to be true to who God made them to be – if female, then female; if male, then male, yet not to follow stereotypical roles for what a woman or a man is to be like. For instance, I hate shopping. I am not particularly fond of cooking. I stink at sewing. I don’t get excited about recipes (only rarely) or coupons. I enjoy writing, I like to bowl, play Ping-Pong, go for a walk, and stroll along the beach (rarely get to do that); play a game with friends, sing a song, talk with friends, and encourage people who are down, etc. Yet, I am completely feminine in every respect.
I love my Lord Jesus, and I desire nothing greater than to be who created me to be – completely female, but uniquely me.
