So-called moden version bibles. There are very good reasons why so many oppose the use of them and argue for the use of the Authorized Version aka KJV only. And it is not fanaticism as almost always charged. Those who make such charges are at best totally ignorant of the facts - and it should be noted - are without excuse for that. They also have no excuse either for the lack of any type of spiritual discernment that would signal them that something is wrong when reading any so-called 'modern-version' bibles. They are dead things. But when so many never discern that 'something is just not right' about that purported bible in their hands - what does this say about them? Answer: something wrong.
Bible version issue - what are the facts then with regard to these so-called 'modern versions'? Very briefly here - not in depth but a quick overview with the basic facts that any interested can easily research using any search engine or going on Youtube:
Westcot and Hort - these are the names of the two men who rewrote the bible. This is important bible history. The facts of what they did and how it was done are the things of conspiracy. The first step Westcott and Hort took to rewrite the bible was they produced two previously unknown NT Greek texts out of absolutely nowhere. This is fact. These two Greek texts today are known as:
1. Sinaiticus .. supposedly found in a monastery in Egypt by guy named Tischendorf approx 1844
2. Vaticanus .. supposedly stashed away in popes secret library at the Vatican in Rome since 15th century
These are the two NT manuscripts used for all modern bibles since 1881 - both very different than the existing KJV manuscript that came down through the centuries. And it should be noted the two were also very different from each other. Did not match at all. No one ever knew these two 'newly found manuscripts' ever existed until Westcott - Hort suddenly came up with them out of the blue at the exact point in time that they set out to rewrite the Authorized Version of the Holy Bible. How fortunate for them exactly what they needed at exactly the right time. Now they could change the bible entirely according to the 'new texts' they had amazingly just found. Which is exactly what happened. 1881 they put out an all new bible with 1000's of changes affecting all the most critical doctrines.
About the two new non-agreeing Greek texts Westcott Hort claimed they dated 4th century - meaning the oldest known in existence so abviously most authoritative - as the story goes. But the very real fact is that no proof exists for this claim. The reality is evidence does exist that Sinaiticus is a 19th century forgery, and for Vaticanus no proof exists whatsoever as to where it came from - except the spurious story that the Catholic church had it stashed in the Pope-Vatican secret library since the 15th century. Reality is that it also being a forgery makes more sense than anything else. Proof to that point is a surprise 'manuscript discovery' called "Archaic Mark" which appeared in 1937, supposedly ancient, that matched Vaticanus nearly exact - which when 'found' was said to validate the Vaticanus 4th century claim. In 2006 'Archaic Mark' was proven conclusively to be a 19th century forgery created 1847 or later. So much for the proof. The original Vaticanus text itself has never been tested for age - still locked away at the Vatican is the story and no one can touch it. All things considered the only possible conclusion is that all modern bibles literally are counterfeited (let that sink in).
The next thing to know, extremely important also, is who were Westcott and Hort, and what were they about? The most important things to know about Westcott and Hort with regard to writing their own bible would be these two facts:
(1) Westcott Hort were known occultists
(2) in their own writings they denied many fundamental bible doctrines (unbelievers)

Spiritism, denying fundamental biblical doctrines - that they did these things are facts and are clear proof that what Westcott and Hort did in changing the bible was not well meaning. These personal details about Westcott and Hort are very important factors on the bible version topic - to ask the question - Why would anybody want to use a so-called bible from these two unbelieving sorcery-practicing charlatans, which they made using forged manuscripts? - Can't think of a single reason.
