Croatia’s president has a habit of handing out her national team’s jerseys to world leaders. She presented the shirts to Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, and both of them coincidentally had the number 9 on them.
Trump and Putin received their gifts on separate occasions. Putin was given his jersey on July 7 at the Kremlin, just hours before his nation’s team faced Croatia in the quarter-final. And, since the US didn’t make it to this year’s World Cup, the Croatian leader took advantage of the opportunity to give a jersey to US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Brussels a couple of days later.

I also believe that Trump and Elon Musk are up to no good with their planned missions to Mars and the Moon. For what purpose? To protect the U.S.? From what? I don't think so...I believe they are getting prepared for the Battle of Armageddon. Remember Reagan's 'Star Wars' program? Same purpose, I believe. They (Satan and his minions) know that Jesus Christ will be descending from the Third Heaven when He returns. He will have to go through the Second Heaven to reach earth for the Battle of Armageddon. Why not attempt to intercept His return before He makes landfall - hence, no Armageddon. Anyone see the movie Rapture Paloozo? Yes, it was pure blasphemy, but that movie was full of symbolism and messages that were 'hidden in plain sight.' Why should we think that Satan's attempt to maintain control of the earth at that time is only going to happen on the ground given that he is the prince of the air? He knows that it is written that he will be defeated at Armageddon...I believe he will do everything in his power to stop it before it gets that far. THAT is what his space program is all about...it is all his technology and look how his technology is backfiring on humanity now. I truly believe this was his intention from the get go. We shall see - um...maybe not as the Body of Christ won't be here - so, I offer just my humble speculation.

I think it is good to do as Jesus said in the Olivet Discourse "WATCH and PRAY ALWAYS that you may be accounted worthy to escape the things coming on the whole earth, and to stand before the Son of Man."
Jesus also asked if when He returned if He will find faith on the earth. Pray that Jesus will to find faith will happen.

Simple Pleasures?
Yes you can, but it really depends on what you want out of life.
My wife and I have two teenagers, a boy and a girl. I think we enjoy both of them more now than even when they were young. Pleasures like this are a gift from God.
However, it would be easy to get caught up depending on them for our sense of well being. Rather than turning to God, it would be easy to turn to my kids to reassure myself with how well they do in life. But that would put a great strain on our relationship. If they did something wrong, I would tend to take it personally and correct them wrongly......

Having an issue regarding your commenting in that they tend to be rather off-topic, and actually more of sermonizing on your own topics.
Really not the right place for that
For instance this comment has nothing to do with the post, but it is you promoting, for one, catholic mystic Thomas Aquinas...whom you call "great" and also affix the title 'Saint' to (the bible recognizes no 'saints' in the manner Catholicism means it be taken) ... whose teachings are fundamental to Catholicism - but contradictory to scripture - things like teaching purgatory, Mary related issues like the false-teaching of immaculate conception, praying to Mary, exalting the papacy ...and much more...
Which are not things that in my view are the things of a "great" man at all, but things that actually come not from 'the spirit of truth' but from 'the spirit of error' [1John 4:6], and cannot be promoted here because they are simply not scriptural... and truth be told these serious errors have led untold millions astray through the centuries
and as already mentioned, the whole is totally off-topic and...i'm not wanting to debate these things here either but if i post them then i also have to refute them rather than let them stand...
