Alert: Microsoft Vows To "Do Everything They Possibly Can" To "Push" All Users To Windows 10 'The Service'

Microsoft Warns Windows 7 Has Serious Problems

[excerpted] Speaking to Windows Weekly, Microsoft Marketing chief Chris Capossela explained that users who choose Windows 7 do so “at your own risk, at your own peril” and he revealed Microsoft has concerns about its future software and hardware compatibility, security and more:

We think every machine that is capable of running Windows 10 we should be doing everything we possibly can to get people to move to Windows 10…We are going to try to find that right balance, but we just know there’s a lot of people out there who constantly kick the can down the street without a little bit more of a, frankly, a push.

And so, there’s no doubt with a base as big as ours, it is hard to move anyone to a new model without angering some people. We don’t want to anger anybody, but we do feel a responsibility to get people to a much better place, and Windows 10 is a much better place than Windows 7. We will always give you a way out, but we’re trying to find the right threat balance.” [see full article at link]

This post is a follow up on: Windows 10 'The Service' Is Big Brother Computer Takeover: "All I Wanna Be Is Everything" Says He; "World Is Ready" 8-7-15 "By now almost certainly all are well aware of the incredible privacy destroying features built into Windows 10, all of which are running by default...Taking control of software out of the hands of users has been a stated goal of the would-be global-population managers for a number of years now (see below). Windows 8 released at the end of 2012 was actually the first major step toward this end. In retrospect it is clear the W8 was never intended to be anything more than just that - just the first step in the overall transition. "The World is Ready" was the motto at that point (see post). That was then, this is now. Windows 10 is now to be the fruition of the plan...With W10 redefining the operating system as a service, updates are now mandatory. Not only security updates, but also the very system features. Like it or not, whatever new thing comes out is getting downloaded and installed automatically on W10 systems. No 'off' button on this one. And this for "the life of the device" says Microsoft. In other words, as radically Big-Brother as W10 is here now right out of the box, what it might look like in one year, two years, five years...[see post]

Microsoft vowing to do "everything [they] possibly can to get people to move to Windows 10" is a huge statement. More specifically, vowing the intent to even "push" to get what they want reveals how intentional they plan to be. These statements clearly signal that this now openly stated Microsoft policy cannot be ignored. As pointed out in the above article Windows 7 is to be supported until 2020. Regardless of that, Microsoft also announced two months or so ago that Windows 10 "upgrades" will in this year 2016 be moved for Windows 7 & 8 computers into the optional update category, and then a little later this year into the recommended update category [link]. This is the beginning of the aggressive strategy. At this point, when it goes to 'recommended' status, any W7 or W8 users that have automatic updates turned on will soon have Windows 10 installing itself on their computers. The user will still have to give a final 'ok' reportedly, but it will at that point be already on the machine and ready to go. Perhaps this is what Microsoft views as "a push".

Important to consider also that users who do not have automatic updates turned on will still have to carefully go over each individual update and cancel anything Widows 10 related.

Windows 10 'the service' - an open portal to ? -Recommend do not get sucked in
Here is the reality for all W7 and W8 users. Taking complete control of the "Windows update" system of your computer/s is from this point forward critical if you do not want to be tricked or forced into being wired into the morphing Big Brother home-portal system aka Windows 10 the "service". Be informed. This is just the start of 'doing everything they possibly can'. What does that say for 2017, 2018, etc.?

Keeping the talking tracking recording morphing Windows 10 'service' out is going to take some effort obviously. Recommend making that effort.
