Very rare to hear any mention of the "blood of Jesus" these days. Very, very rare, if ever. May this then be a reminder to all who still have ears to hear: There is still no other gospel, way of salvation that is, then the gospel of "redemption through his blood"*. His blood - the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ of course. No, not for the Jew, and no, not for the non-Jew. Without the blood salvation is a thing impossible [Hebrews 9:22]. Any gospel that does not make the importance of the blood primary, or has forgotten the blood, or has disregarded it altogether, is no gospel. Salvation for lost sinful mankind comes not without a price. A price no man could ever pay [Rev. 5:1-4,5-6]. The blood of the Lord Jesus Christ alone was that price. And he, alone, paid it:

So that's Canada and Russia, two of the world's biggest economies, having bank runs within the span of a couple of weeks. With an American truck convoy about to start, I hope that's a sign to everyone here (American or not, quite frankly), to have plenty of cash available.
Maybe we need a new thread. Can anyone trust the banks in their nation at this point? Can US citizens trust that their accounts will not be locked for being pro-Russian? I agree with @BillMcNeal. It would be smart to keep as much money out of the bank in cash as you can, and only leave enough in there to pay bills from paycheck to paycheck.
Other investments other than checking and savings accounts may or may not be more secure. You'll have to judge each to determine how easily it can be seized.
