D.C. Mayor Orders Insurance Companies to Offer Coverage for Sex Change Treatments
WASHINGTON – The mayor of Washington, D.C. has ordered insurance companies in the district to offer coverage to residents who seek sex change treatments.
“This action places the district at the forefront of advancing the rights of transgender individuals,” Mayor Vincent Gray said during a press conference on Thursday. “It also fully implements the district’s Human Rights Act by incorporating gender identity and expression as protected classes in the district’s health insurance laws.”
The D.C. Department of Insurance, Securities, and Banking (DISB) also issued a bulletin to insurance companies in the state, prohibiting discrimination against those who identify as the opposite gender, and recognizing gender dysphoria as a bonafide medical condition.
Currently, Colorado, California, Connecticut, Oregon and Vermont all mandate insurance companies to offer sex change coverage. Gray’s announcement comes just months after the Connecticut Insurance Department directed all insurance companies in the state to provide coverage for sex change operations, treatments and counseling.

In the now Brave New World of 2014 "gender dysphoria" is now recognized as a "bonafide medical condition", the "expression" of it belonging to a "protected class", and for those private businesses who may still not want to play along with the "protected gender dysphoria expression" agenda, BNW government is sending out notices "prohibiting discrimination".
In other words, no religious or morally opposing view will be recognized as having any validity any longer. It's bonafide, it's protected, says BB. This then creates a pretext to class any "opposition" as "hate speech". Interesting how that is - the "genderless-agenda" also now becomes a powerful tool in the ZWO war on dissent as it is providing a necessary opportunity to demonstrate stripping away the "right to dissent".
