When they start it, it will be on. The WWIII run-up has been going on for a long time now. The exact day for it is already set this is certain. 'Clash of Civilizations' is how it is drawn up. The key players are to be Iran, Russia China, Turkey - against the 'West' including primarily the US and Israel the key players. Ultimately Israel alone. This by design - explained just below. It will be a scripted made-for-tv production. Do not misunderstand that statement though. The destruction will be real. The existing order must be destroyed to allow the reconstruction into the "one-world-government". The existing governments are all in on it together, but not the people of course. Ezekiel 38-39 Gog-Magog is Bible prophecy. It describes a scenario where certain entities/nations 'gang-up' against Israel to destroy it. The prophecy reveals that God intervenes for Israel and they come out victorious. Ezekiel 38-39 does not refer to this present time or age though, it can only be, correctly interpreted, fulfilled at the end of the millennial kingdom as described in the book of Revelation chapter 20 [see below*]. Bible students know what this is talking about, whether they believe that interpretation or not.
The fact is though that there is a very common, purposely-created, false interpretation of the Ezekiel 38-39 prophecy, making it apply to this present time of history [for example, see: Hal Lindsey; Russia not in bible]. And the fact is probably a majority of professing christians have been hoodwinked to believe this false interpretation of a present-day fulfillment. This purposely falsified interpretation makes the current nations of - you guessed it - Russia, Iran, China, Turkey - as the attackers of Israel, and hence God intervening to defeat them. As stated, this false interpretation is on-purpose. That purpose is that this "prophecy" is being used as the script for the long-planned WWIII now being sold to the people of the earth. It is being made out to be the fulfillment of the Gog-Magog war described in Ezekiel 38-39. A completely fake Gog-Magog in other words. Totally scripted, fake-WWIII, which Israel then wins through "divine intervention", and with that, the claim of a 'divinely-appointed' right to rule the planet and mankind. To set up the "kingdom of Zion" over all the earth that is. Which kingdom the biblical Antichrist at a later time will rise to rule over - making himself out to be the "son of David" and king of the world [link].

Ezekiel's chapter 38-39 Gog-Magog and the Revelation's chapter 20 Gog-Magog are one and the same.
