22 women to join Army’s infantry, armor branches as officers
WASHINGTON – Twenty-two women will become officers in the traditionally all-male infantry and armor fields in the coming weeks, the Army announced Friday.
The female soldiers will become the first women to serve in the front-line combat branches that were officially opened to them April 1. Each will have to spend months passing additional job-specific training before they are assigned to a unit to serve as platoon leaders.
The Army has established a “leaders-first” approach to integrating women into the infantry and armor branches, according to the gender-integration plan submitted last month to Defense Secretary Ash Carter. Army leadership believes having several female officers in place to serve as mentors to enlisted female soldiers will help smooth the transition process.
The Army does not expect to see large numbers of women interested in serving in the infantry or armor. Since it officially opened the fields to women on April 1, only three female recruits have enlisted with the intention to serve in infantry or armor military occupational specialities.
It will take longer than one year before enlisted women reach an infantry or armor unit. Female recruits intending to serve in armor jobs must attend initial entrance training in May 2017 and female infantry recruits will ship off to basic training in June 2017. They will attend one-station basic and advanced individual training at Fort Benning, Ga. alongside male recruits.

Women not only assigned to combat units, but to be, if they pass the "additional training and meet a series of physical requirements", made into "platoon leaders". In plain language, what is being said is that the plan is to have women leading men into combat. Gender integration they call it. What it really is is gender destruction. Men taking orders from women on a battlefield? - what could be more 'emasculating' than this. Answer: nothing - which is exactly the new-transgender-world-order (NTWO) plan. Emasculate the male, render them all subservient to the would-be global overlords. Can't have strong dominant type-a males in the slave class, too difficult to control. Same plan already on full-speed-ahead i.e. "on the front burner" throughout every area of society - from bathrooms everywhere to Boy Scouts to professional sports and now the 'combat field'. Ma'am yes ma'am!
As stated in above article, very few women have responded to the wonderful tremendous 'opportunity' to risk life and limb for the "Mission" [see below link] - so the decision has been made to place women into leadership roles that other females may be more inclined to also sign on the dotted line. Yea, in reading the Old Testament, God chose and raised up women to do the job that man could not do. I have been told that only man can understand the Bible better than women, thus eliminating God, the Holy Spirit living and working in every born again believer. And the priesthood of every believer.....gender neutrality, like you say.
We have made such a big deal about gender that I fear the Gospel of our LORD Jesus Christ is neglected here in America. It is time to bring the missionaries home!
There were half women in the conceal and carry course that I enrolled in. Praise God, He at least gave us half a brain (facetious here).
