Most eschatological interpretations concede the concept of a "rapture". The scriptures describing a rapture at some point in time are very clear and really not possible to explain away. The dispute on the subject is not about 'if' the doctrine of the rapture is the correct interpretation of scripture, but is entirely about the timing of it. Not 'if', but 'when', is the point of the endless contention that surrounds the topic.
Each of the various views have their own specific interpretations to 'prove' that it is the correct one. The purpose of this study though is not to sort through all the differences of the various interpretations, but just to address one of the most important topics with regard to determining the correct timing of the rapture. That topic is the "last trump" of 1st Corinthians 15:52. Opponents of the pretribulation rapture commonly use this verse citing the "last trump" as proof that the 'pretrib' interpretation is false.

Handel's Messiah - 1741: Composed by George Frideric Handel in 1741 over a brief 24-day period (260 pages), the correct title is simply "Messiah". It is an oratorio. Acclaimed through the centuries as the greatest musical composition ever written, the term 'inspired' has often been suggested in attempting to describe the work. Whether that be the case or not, certainly no greater subject matter were ever possible than that of this 'oratorio'. Written entirely with the inspired Word of God from the King James Bible, it is a presentation of the Saviour of the world, the Lord Jesus Christ, from the prophecies that went before, to His coming triumphant reign of heaven and earth. On the bottom of the manuscript Handel wrote "SDG" — Soli Deo Gloria, "To God alone the glory". President Donald Trump has announced more details concerning the UFC event at the White House that will take place in 2026 in celebration of America's 250th anniversary event. The president said that eight or nine championship fights will be taking place, and that UFC CEO Dana White will be building up an arena to hold around 6,000 seats.

The same day the event is slated to take place, Trump will be turning 80 years old, and he has said the White House fight night will be bigger than any other UFC event in history.

When did the New Testament church really begin? Any familiar with the topic are well aware of the never-ending disagreements on the topic. It is a very important topic because when exactly the NT church began is foundational to everything that follows. Acts 2 is of course the most common view but others put it at Acts 9, 13, or even later [Mid-Acts Dispensationalism aka MAD]. Only one answer can be correct of course and the fact is 'none of the above' are correct. Surprise to most all, the NT church did not begin Acts 2, or anytime after that, but at an earlier time. The account of the actual beginning of the NT church is found in 20th chapter of John. Here is found the only correct answer - which is that the NT church actually began on the day of the resurrection - in the evening - when this happened:
John 20:19 'Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you'
The day of the resurrection this was the evening. All the disciples were there.. (except Thomas v. 24); Peter James John etc. would have all been there -- and then the risen Lord Jesus Christ..
John 20:22 '..breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost'
Highly significant moment in the history of mankind. This was only the second time ever that God 'breathed' on man - the first was the original creation Genesis 2:7, and now here.
'Sacred name' they hate to say LORD.. because it would mean they are not their own 'LORD' - and to say it would mean they would have to bow.. and they hate that - so any other name they can come up with will do - you name it they will claim it [link] and call it 'sacred' - yahoo. So-called modern version bibles. There are very good reasons why so many oppose the use of them and argue for the use of the Authorized Version aka KJV only. And it is not fanaticism as almost always charged. Those who make such charges are at best totally ignorant of the facts - and it should be noted - are without excuse for that. And they have no excuse either for the lack of any type of spiritual discernment that would signal them that something is wrong when reading any so-called 'modern-version' bibles. They are dead things. But when so many never discern that 'something is just not right' about that purported bible in their hands - what does this say about them? Answer: something wrong.

Too often the impression is given that to be a Christian is after all very little different from being a non-Christian, that you must not think of Christianity as a narrow life, but as something most attractive and wonderful and exciting, and that you come in in crowds. It is not so according to our Lord. The gospel of Jesus Christ is too honest to invite anybody in that way. It does not try to persuade us that it is something very easy, and that it is only later on that we shall begin to discover it is hard. Narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it
There is only one standard of truth and error to which we ought to appeal. That standard is the Holy Scripture [AV/KJV]. Whatever is there written we must receive and believe; whatever cannot be proved by Scripture we ought to refuse. Can any reader of this paper subscribe to this? If he cannot, there is little chance of his being moved by any words of mine. If he can, let him give me his attention for a few moments, and I will tell him some solemn things.
Let us look, then, for one thing, at one single text of Scripture, and examine it well. We shall find it in Matthew 7:13-14. "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Now these are the words of our Lord Jesus Christ. They are the words of Him who was very God, and whose words shall never pass away. They are the words of Him who knew what was in man—who knew things to come, and things past—who knew that He should judge all people at the last day. And what do those words mean? Are they words which no man can understand without a knowledge of Hebrew or Greek? No—they are not! Are they a dark, unfulfilled prophecy, like the visions in Revelation, or the description of Ezekiel's temple? No—they are not! Are they a deep mysterious saying, which no human intellect can fathom? Let us look, in the next place, at the whole history of mankind as respects religion, as we have it given in the Bible. Let us go through the whole four thousand years, over which the history of the Bible reaches. Let us find, if we can, one single period of time at which godly people were many, and ungodly people were few.

We must never draw a plea from the condition of things around us for lowering the standard of individual holiness and devotedness. There is no excuse for continuing a single hour in connection with anything that will not stand the test of Holy Scripture.
