The Federal Bureau of Investigation is committing $110,000 toward the creation of a state-of-the-art center for investigations in the Oakland Police Department, according to a briefing provided by OPD and the FBI at the Oakland City Council's public safety committee meeting last night.

The joint effort will bring as many as ten FBI agents into OPD’s criminal investigations division to expand the department’s investigative capacity.

The new facility will include twelve computer workstations with access to FBINet, the bureau’s classified intranet... FBINet "communicates secret information, including investigative case files and intelligence pertaining to national security," and has been a critical tool in the creation of so-called fusion centers that collect and share law enforcement information between federal, state and local agencies.

“Everyone in [OPD] homicide has been deputized as a task force officer and has access to the FBI database and access to resources outside of the state.”

Holmgren said OPD will have access to many of FBI tools, including software to conduct “social network analysis” of suspects and their social networks. “We can see what sphere of influence these individuals have,” he said.

Cleveland police department agrees to carry out federal reforms

The Cleveland police department, which has been criticised for aggressive tactics against African Americans, has agreed to strict federal reforms. Mayor Frank Jackson said on Tuesday that the police will adhere to the most exacting standards in the US.

The US Department of Justice settlement comes after a series of cases where officers killed unarmed people.

An independent monitor will track the police department's progress.

Officers will also undergo mental health consultations.

If the city does not carry out the terms of the settlement, known as a consent decree, a federal judge has the authority to demand them.

Mr Jackson said all police officers will have body cameras by the end of 2015.

"Today marks a new way of policing in the city of Cleveland, one built on a strong foundation of systemic change," Mr Jackson said of the agreement with the DOJ.

The agreement comes on the heels of racial tensions and police-involved shooting deaths of Freddie Gray in Baltimore, Maryland, Eric Garner in New York City and Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri.

Baltimore and Ferguson's police departments have also came under close scrutiny of the Department of Justice.

Boy Scouts president: Ban on gay leaders ‘unsustainable’

The president of the Boy Scouts of America on Thursday urged the organization to reconsider its blanket ban on gay leaders, suggesting that the organization must keep up with the times on the issue or face “the end of us as a national movement.”

“We must deal with the world as it is, not as we might wish it to be,” he said, according to prepared remarks posted on the Boy Scouts’s Web site. “The status quo in our movement’s membership standards cannot be sustained.”

He suggested a compromise that allows the decision of whether to allow gay leaders to be made at the local level. That would give groups such as New York the right to hire a gay camp leader, while also protecting troops sponsored by the Catholic and Mormon churches from having to do the same.

Gates’s remarks drew immediate praise from gay rights groups, which urged the organization to take heed of his warning.

It is such a common notion that the pearl of great price is the Saviour Himself that it seems almost irreverent to challenge it. Yet the popular interpretation is open to serious objection for two reasons: (1) it would put this parable entirely out of harmony with the teaching of its context; (2) it represents the sinner as sacrificing something - all indeed - in order to acquire Christ. But Christ cannot be purchased. He is God's unspeakable gift to man, and all the blessings which are the fruit of His atonement, Eternal life, etc.-are gifts also.

Peter severely denounced the man who thought the gift of God might be purchased with money. Moreover, the sinner is represented in Scripture as having "nothing to pay" (Luke 7:42). He who cannot meet his just obligations is surely in no position to buy costly pearls. And it should be remembered that it is the Saviour who seeks the sinner, rather than the sinner the Saviour.

The parable runs thus:-"The Kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchantman seeking goodly pearls; who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it" (Matt. 13:45-46).

As in the case of the hidden treasure [Matt. 13:44], the purchaser is Christ. The pearl is the Church, which, in Scripture, is the aggregate of all believing persons from the descent of the Holy Ghost, until the coming of the Saviour into the air (Acts 2:1-4; 1Thes. 4:15-18). The hidden treasure may have consisted of hundreds of pieces of gold and silver, and thus suitably represents believers in all ages, who have been, and will yet be saved out of the wreck of Adam's world by the infinite grace of God.

But the pearl represents the saved of the Christian period specifically. The Church holds a very special place in the ways of God. The divine purposes concerning it were retained as a secret in the divine bosom until Paul was raised up as a chosen vessel to communicate them to men (Eph 3:3-4).

He was in a peculiar sense the minister of the Church; and from him we learn that the Church is Christ's body now, and will be His bride throughout eternity. In these special relationships the saved of the preceding and following ages have no part though the everlasting home of all God's saints is one-"the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem" (Heb. 12: 22).

The single pearl shows the unity and beauty of the Church as Christ sees and estimates it. To have the pearl for His own He sacrificed His all. He left heaven's glory, and accepted in lieu thereof the lowly circumstances of earth. His earthly throne, as David's Son and Heir, He also surrendered, and accepted instead the cross and the tomb.

All this was in order that He might possess Himself of the pearl upon which He had set His heart. As the Spirit elsewhere puts it: "Christ loved the Church, and gave Himself for it" (Eph. 5:25). Surely the affections of all the objects of His favour should be set upon such a Saviour for ever.

‘Not aimed at third country’: Russia & China start joint drills at Mediterranean

Russia, China first ever joint naval exercise: “Joint Sea 2015” May 17-21

Nine Russian and Chinese warships kicked off joint military exercises dubbed, ‘Sea Cooperation - 2015’ in the Mediterranean on Sunday, the Russian Defense ministry said.

“The active phase of the exercises will be held in the Mediterranean between May 17 and 21, about 10 warships from the Russian Navy and the People's Liberation Army Navy [of China] will be participating,” a statement from the Defense Ministry said.

The goal of the Russia-China exercises “is to strengthen mutual understanding between the navies... regarding boosting stability, countering new challenges and threats at sea," Vice-Admiral Aleksandr Fedotenkov, a deputy commander of the Russian Navy, who is leading the exercises from the Russian side, said.

The Russian-Chinese exercise comes at a time when NATO and its allies are holding military drills all over Europe.

Earlier, Russia announced its land forces will take part in a series of joint drills with troops in China, Belarus, India, and Mongolia later this year. The exercises will focus on peacekeeping and antiterrorist activities, the Kremlin said.

With relations between Moscow and the West having deteriorated over the Ukraine crisis, Russia has increased cooperation with its Chinese neighbors, in both economic and military spheres.

Quoting from the 'follow up' post linked above, the last line: "all the players are being lined up". The operative word there is "players". Players as in a scripted production. As made clear in this 'Russia-China Joint Drill' article, the players are clearly assuming their assigned positions. Thanks to the "Ukraine crisis" the "West" and Russia are moving apart, and Russia and China are moving closer together. Exactly what the script calls for.

This is of course not the first story of the increasing alliance of late between Russia and China but it would seem to mark a definite escalation as far as outward activity goes. Answer: very likely exactly the type of immense military exercises that are here now being seen on the global stage. Russia and China coming together, familiarizing themselves with, and ironing out the details of the script, getting their stage cues down, everyone learning their lines, so-to-speak, so that when the time comes and the director yells "action" - it all goes 'just the way they drew it up'.

Call it 'gender fluidity': Schools to teach kids there's no such thing as boys or girls

[Excerpted] One of the nation’s largest public school systems is preparing to include gender identity to its classroom curriculum, including lessons on sexual fluidity and spectrum – the idea that there’s no such thing as 100 percent boys or 100 percent girls.

Fairfax County Public Schools released a report recommending changes to their family life curriculum for grades 7 through 12.

They’re telling us you can be both genders, you can be no gender, you can be a gender that you make up for yourself. And we’re supposed to affirm all of it.”

The plan calls for teaching seventh graders about transgenderism and tenth graders about the concept that sexuality is a broader spectrum.

Eighth graders will be taught that individual identity “occurs over a lifetime and includes the component of sexual orientation and gender identity.”

“Individual identity will also be described as having four parts – biological gender, gender identity (includes transgender), gender role, and sexual orientation (includes heterosexual, bisexual, and homosexual).”

The district will also introduce young teenagers to the “concept that sexuality is a broader spectrum.” By tenth grade, they will be taught that one’s sexuality “develops throughout a lifetime.”

Last week, the school board voted to include gender identity in the district’s nondiscrimination policy – a decision that was strongly opposed by parents.

Lafferty, who led the opposition to the nondiscrimination policy, warned that the district is moving towards the deconstruction of gender...I [Lafferty] asked the school district to provide me with the textbooks and scientific data they will be using to instruct the children that there are dozens and dozens of possible genders. The aim is to catch not just those who spread or incite hatred on the grounds of gender, race or religion but also those who undertake harmful activities for the “purpose of overthrowing democracy”.

They would include a ban on broadcasting and a requirement to submit to the police in advance any proposed publication on the web and social media or in print. It will also contain new powers to close premises including mosques where extremists seek to influence others.

First things first, all other considerations aside for the moment, about the name assigned to devil-worshiping Zio-Hollywood's Antichrist-gone-good superhero crimefighter "Lucifer Morningstar". Very important to understand this about that name/title. The title "morning star" does not belong to Lucifer but to the Lord Jesus Christ [Rev. 22:16]. Lucifer's correct title is "son of the morning", as found in Isaiah 14:12, a passage that reveals his fall and ultimate demise. There is a huge difference. Referring to Lucifer as "morning star" is an usurpation, purposely and nefariously done by the way, as proven by the fact that the source of Lucifer's title-robbery is none other than the rewritten thoroughly corrupted Westcott-Hort pseudo-bibles, in particular the infamous NIV (Non-Inspired-Version) where Isaiah 14:12 "O Lucifer, son of the morning" is falsely translated by removing entirely the one only reference in all the Bible to the name "Lucifer", exchanging it for "Morningstar". Likewise the NASB (Not-A-Solid-Bible), also striking the name Lucifer from the text, making it to read "O star of the morning". No star for Lucifer in Isaiah 14. Virtually every other WH counterfeit-bible follows suit, using similar usurping names in Isaiah 14:12 like for example the favorite warmed-over Westcott-Hort 'version' of many today, the ESV (just another 'Error-Saturated-Version') which translates Lucifer's name and correct Isaiah 14:12 "son of the morning" title to "O Day Star, son of Dawn!"...which is another blatant usurpation of terms that rightly have reference only to the Saviour Christ Jesus - 2Peter 1:19.

And so, with a stolen identity, here now comes Zio-Hollywood's presentation of Antichrist comes to earth as Lucifer not-so-bad kinda good (note character 'Chole Dance' whose part has her both "repulsed and fascinated") just give him a chance crimefighter with best-friend/lover fierce-demon 'Maze' who assumes human form...the Clark Kent and Lois Lane of the underworld apparently.

Hard to imagine it getting any more pathetic than this. Or a more blatant attempt to 'reinvent' arch-counterfeit Lucifer/Satan/Antichrist for mass acceptance ala 666 style - he's your friend...really. Rick Warren...Testifies With Elton John to Urge Congress Not to Cut AIDS Funding

Pastor Rick Warren spoke to Congress about global health programs Wednesday, saying foreign governments he's worked with are "not nearly as afraid of the Church as" the U.S. government. Along with gay singer Elton John, the megachurch pastor urged lawmakers not to cut AIDS funding.

"And if you want to talk about distribution you have to use faith communities," he told a Senate Appropriations panel.

Warren, whose church's Global P.E.A.C.E. plan has sent teams to serve in 197 countries, added, "I've actually found it quite easy to work with other governments. They're not nearly as afraid of the church as the American government is."

Sen. James Lankford, a Republican from Oklahoma, agreed.

"It is ironic we have distributed around the world this concept of freedom of religion and disconnect between government and faith and to say that government that doesn't oppose faith" Lankford said. "But now we become like we're afraid of faith and being able to partner. And it seems like it's an obvious area of partnering."

Both Pastor Warren and gay activist and musician Elton John, sitting next to each other at the witness table, asked the panel not to cut AIDS funding to the President's Emergency Plan For AIDS Relief, or PEPFAR, launched by President George W. Bush.

Warren and John laughed as they held hands, and as Warren told him jokingly if they kissed it would be "the kiss heard 'round the world."

Warren's remarks are classic Purpose Driven Agenda21 - Peter Drucker global government speak - i.e. "three legged stool" of 'government-private-faith' partnership. A partnership in name only of course, because the biggest 'partner' is the one that controls everything. Which is exactly the idea. It is the foundation for global dictatorship - all sectors of society networked into top-down global-government control. Warren's job is to network the 'faith' sector to be the social works department of the Zion-kingdom-come. Here, again, is the derivation of the name "Purpose Driven". The Christians (as well other 'faith traditions') - it's their 'purpose' in life to be volunteer social workers i.e. worker bees for the now rising Tower of Babel II. Note especially Warren's completely untrue, completely non-biblical, absurd claim in response to Melinda Gates's remark on what a great idea this is of the church being the "distribution center for health care" as recorded in the second paragraph of the above transcript: The "church", says Warren "has been for 2,000 years".

Perhaps the most interesting thing to be noted here, and although not actually stated in so many words, it seemed that there was a hint of possible government funding for the NWO/Warren P.E.A.C.E. Plan. Quoting from the posted article Sen. James Lankford, a Republican from Oklahoma said: "seems like it's an obvious area for partnering", while Warren later commented (quote above) about being in favor of "government funding and increasing funding". Senator Jeanne Shaheen toward the end of the meeting suggested that the government "try" working with Warren, and Chairman of the hearing Lindsey Graham replied with an "absolutely".

Nothing more definite than that, but that itself is significant. Global government sponsoring global interfaith religion is a big deal. It just inched closer to becoming reality...with Rick Warren 'purposely' driving the deal.

When the original Tower of Babel was built, they would surely have needed a lot of laborers. These were the ones who carried all the bricks and buckets of slime. In other words, they would have been the "Purpose Driven" gang of those days - building the kingdom of (first antichrist-type) Nimrod:
