The earth, therefore, by this call, is left just as it was. For it is a stranger to the purpose of God.

Official: Food Network will not renew Paula Deen's contract

(CNN) -- Celebrity chef Paula Deen's contract with The Food Network will not be renewed, the network said Friday, the latest fallout over revelations this week that she admitted to using a racial epithet in the past.

The Food Network's announcement followed reports earlier this week that Deen acknowledged in a lawsuit deposition to using the "N word," but denied telling racial jokes.

It also came the same day that Deen apologized in video statements posted online for "the wrong that I've done."

"I want to apologize to everybody for the wrong that I've done," Deen said in the video statement. "I want to learn and grow from this. Inappropriate and hurtful language is totally, totally unacceptable. I've made plenty of mistakes along the way but I beg you, my children, my team, my fans, my partners, I beg for your forgiveness."

The Food Network, which airs three shows featuring Deen, issued a statement saying that it would "continue to monitor the situation."

"Food Network does not tolerate any form of discrimination and is a strong proponent of diversity and inclusion," the network said.

This 'Paula Deen' episode brings an entirely new twist on the theme into play though, and, it will be noticed, is perfectly timed to coincide with recent 'revelations' of government data collection on citizens. The above 'incidents' all had to do with a current comment or comments, but, as the script now reads, the celebrity (read: insider) in question in this instance is being chastised for things way way back in the past. Things said, reportedly, 27 years ago (1986).

Big Brother object lesson for John Q. Public? Remember that e-mail you sent five years ago...that Facebook post a few years back...well we do.

Begging for forgiveness, pledging to "learn and grow", and declaring that "inappropriate and hurtful language is totally, totally unacceptable", and then begging some more, as demonstrated by Ms. Deen, may possibly earn you a reprieve though, but that depends. As seen above, the Food Network is making no promises to forgive and reinstate, but has said that they will "continue to monitor the situation".

Exodus International says its anti-gay view was not 'biblical'

Florida-based Exodus International announced it was closing its doors Wednesday night, a day after its President Alan Chambers apologized in a statement to members of the gay community for "years of undue judgment by the organization and the Christian Church as a whole.”

“Exodus is an institution in the conservative Christian world, but we’ve ceased to be a living, breathing organism,” Chambers said in announcing the church’s closure. “For quite some time we’ve been imprisoned in a worldview that’s neither honoring toward our fellow human beings, nor biblical.”

Chambers said in a statement that the organization's directors voted to shut down Exodus after more than 30 years and start a new ministry that would would work with other churches to create "safe, welcoming and mutually transforming communities.”

Michael Hastings Conspiracy Theories: Car Accident And Dead Body Fuel Speculation On Reddit, Twitter

[excerpted] The apparent death of Michael Hastings, the young investigative journalist known for ruffling feathers among the nation’s power elite, has brought with it a wave of unanswered questions and speculation. Best known for a Rolling Stone article that led to the firing of Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the 33-year-old BuzzFeed reporter died in a car accident in Los Angeles early Tuesday morning, according to a statement released by Ben Smith, BuzzFeed’s editor-in-chief.

While the journalistic community has largely reacted to the news with an outpouring of grief, online forums have been running wild with conspiracy theories, and why wouldn’t they? Some of the details surrounding the story read like a poorly written political thriller. As of Wednesday morning, the Los Angeles County coroner's office had still not determined that an “unrecognizable” body pulled from a fiery solo car crash was actually Hastings, according to the Los Angeles Times. (The body is identified only as “John Doe 117.”)

Meanwhile, LA Weekly reports that Hastings was reporting extensively on the CIA at the time of his death, and the Guardian’s Glenn Greenwald pointed out that Hastings’ last article for BuzzFeed was on the NSA and the Democrats’ love for spying on Americans.

In Hastings’ 2012 book, “The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan,” Hastings writes of a McChrystal staffer who allegedly said to him, “We’ll hunt you down and kill you if we don’t like what you write.”

As the above article states, the "conspiracy theorists" are off and running with this story which, to quote, reads "like a poorly written political thriller": Investigative journalist known for challenging the power structure with some success, and currently working on the biggest scandal of recent history, that is the CIA and NSA, mysteriously perishes in an early AM fiery car crash, with witnesses reporting what sounded "like a bomb", engine flying down the street, and only "an unrecognizable body" remaining (subsequent to this article being published the identity of the victim was 'verified').

Interesting to note that the Dorner (also 33 yrs. old) phantom-fugitive incident back in February of this year ended in a similar manner - nothing to see here folks, move along, move along [link].

So the question is just how obvious does something need to appear to be to get a message across. If a thing is so obvious that an immediate conclusion can be made...can it even be believable? Or is it more believable that the thing can be entirely staged for the purpose of sending that intended message. Two days ago it was the man on the United jet ranting about the CIA and someone trying to poison him, now it is a scenario that anyone, and with very little imagination, could easily arrive at the conclusion that the situation has all the makings for what 'a hit' might look like, which the aforementioned "conspiracy theorists' are of course doing. The given age of '33' in this context needs no comment.

At any rate, the circumstances of this story being as described, it is not unlikely that a certain impression might be left upon the hearers - like the "chill factor" bigtime. Is that the intent?

Man Who Caused Poison Scare On United Jet Ranted About "National Security And CIA", Then Lost 'Liberty'

Disruptive man on United jet taken off flight after poison scare

Passengers aboard a flight from Hong Kong jumped on a man who began ranting about national security and the CIA, then bound his hands and feet for the final six hours of the flight to the United States on Monday...The man, described by passengers as an American, asked that United Airlines Flight 116 be diverted to Canada as he screamed about being afraid of the FBI and of being poisoned, passengers said.

"He was clearly not stable," said passenger Jacques Roizen of New York...Roizen said he, other passengers and a flight attendant jumped on the man and subdued him when he started reaching for his pockets hours before the plane landed at Liberty Airport in Newark.

While the plane was still in the air, the FBI said that the man had claimed everyone aboard was being poisoned, but the agency later said it was working to clarify just what the man said...Passenger Peter Jones of Washington said he heard the man claim he himself was going to be poisoned..."He said someone was going to poison him," Jones said...Roizen said "He was very paranoid,"....

As the details come out it seems that this story may be another one to file in the category of current events that somehow always play perfectly into the 'current narrative'. According to the 'eyewitnesses' it turns out that the man was not threatening that all passengers on board had been poisoned, but "that he himself was going to be poisoned". Considering the rest of the story, as reported, i.e. the "ranting about national security and the CIA... [and]...being afraid of the FBI and being poisoned", the only logical explanation for his behavior would obviously have to in some way be related to the recent NSA 'scandal'.

The story does seem to be full of suggestion - for instance that to question 'government surveillance' means that a person is 'unstable' and 'paranoid', because the only people who would do that must believe that 'government is out to get them'. Also interesting to note is that a diagonal flip of the flight number (#116) gives a '911'; and just one more thing - that the incident happened on the way to "Liberty" (airport). In a strange way it almost seems like an inference could be drawn between 'questioning' and 'loss of liberty'. Just noticing...

Inquirer Editorial: Snowden's secret resolves catch-22

[Excerpted] Fans of Joseph Heller's Catch-22 can't help but hear an echo of the novel's plot in the real-life drama playing out over the leak of information about massive U.S. government spying programs.

One of Heller's central characters was Snowden, an airman who was mortally wounded by flak on a bombing run, and who was tended to by the novel's protagonist, Capt. John Yossarian. As Yossarian patches a leg wound for Snowden, he gradually realizes that the airman has sustained devastating wounds to his torso. Peeling back Snowden's flak jacket, Yossarian recoils in horror as Snowden's intestines spill out and Snowden dies amid the gore.

The encounter radically alters Yossarian's outlook on the war and life. And the parallels with the NSA leaker go beyond the name. Indeed, Edward Snowden's figuratively spilling his guts on domestic spying in the United States could fundamentally alter the wholesale surveillance born of the war on terrorism.

The novel Catch-22, like it says on the cover, is a "classic bestseller". Coming from this famous book, the phrase 'catch-22' has made it's way into common usage in the English language. Basically a 'catch-22' is "an impossible situation where you are prevented from doing one thing until you have done another thing that you cannot do until you have done the first thing" [link].

The book itself is not the subject here though, but the author of the above article does draw an interesting parallel between the Catch-22 idea and the so-called NSA-scandal [see article]. The purpose here, very briefly, is simply to note what is brought out in the above article, in particular the highly unlikely correlation between the character in the book and the character at the center of the current 'global spy-scandal', and the virtual impossibility of assigning these things to random chance. Namely, that it is "coincidental" that the 'NSA leak' situation now playing out before the world could figuratively portray the fate of a character with the same name in, not just any book now, but a book generally considered to be one of the greatest works of American literature over the last century.

What are the odds? Same name, Snowden, and same action, spilling his guts - the reality is that the odds of it are incalculable.

NFL bans purses, seat cushions, coolers from games in new security measure

Forget about bringing your big purse or backpack -- or even a cooler -- to NFL games this season. They'll all be banned, along with seat cushions and camera bags, at all NFL stadiums beginning with preseason games.

In a press release Thursday, the NFL Committee on Stadium Security said to a provide a "safer environment" and to "expedite fan entry," NFL teams will implement a policy that will limit the size and types of bags that can be brought into stadiums...

Prohibited items include purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, seat cushions, cinch bags or camera bags. The statement said that stadiums will establish a secondary perimeter around the stadium where security will check for prohibited items.

"This establishes a protected buffer area for fans in plaza-level areas and at the queues for stadium entry," it said. "Any prohibited bag inside the second perimeter will be highly visible and more quickly resolved." Fans with bags that do not meet the criteria will be turned away from the stadium. The committee is encouraging stadiums to provide temporary storage facilities for banned items well outside the bag-restricted area.

One Team Pride shirts feature the name and jersey number of an NFL player, including: Brendon Ayanbadejo, Connor Barwin, Domonique Foxworth, Scott Fujita, Steve Gleason, Chris Gocong, Chris Kluwe, Donté Stallworth, Terrell Suggs and Eric Winston.

All net proceeds will go to Athlete Ally, a non-profit organization that fights homophobia in sports.

Twitter must disclose authors of anti-Semitic tweets, French appeals court rules

A French court this week ordered Twitter to disclose the names of users accused of posting racist and anti-Semitic tweets, rejecting an appeal that the company filed in March. In a decision handed down Wednesday, a Paris appeals court confirmed that Twitter must provide its user data to France's Union of Jewish Students (UEJF) and four other human rights organizations that filed a complaint against the company in November 2012.

"Twitter must comply with legal orders to allow the identification, and therefore the conviction, of the authors of these hateful tweets," Vallaud-Belkacem continued.

In a statement posted to the UEJF site Wednesday, organization president Jonathan Hayoun lauded the court's decision, saying it's clear that Twitter can no longer "play with French justice."..."Our goal is to put a stop to the sense of impunity that racist and anti-Semitic authors feel on the internet," Hayoun said. "And Twitter must cooperate when this is the case."

"We are disappointed that the court has decided not to hear our appeal," the company said. "We are considering our options, including resubmitting the appeal."

Supreme Court Bans Protests On Its Grounds

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court has come up with a new regulation banning demonstrations on its grounds, two days after a broader anti-demonstration law was declared unconstitutional.

The regulation bans activities on the court's grounds or building such as picketing, speech-making, marching, vigils or religious services "that involve the communication or expression of views or grievances, engaged in by one or more persons, the conduct of which is reasonably likely to draw a crowd or onlookers."

John Whitehead, the president of the Rutherford Institute...called the new regulation "repugnant" to the Constitution...Whitehead said there are solutions short of what the court came up with Thursday, such as creating a "free speech zone" on the plaza..."Doing away with all of it – I don't understand what they're doing," he said.

A spokeswoman for the Supreme Court declined comment.

New York Proposes Outlawing Anonymous Comments "To Deter...Anonymous Criminals"

New York lawmakers propose ban on anonymous online comments

Called the Internet Protection Act (A.8688/S.6779), the legislation would require a web site administrator to pull down anonymous comments from sites, including "social networks, blogs forums, message boards or any other discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages."

The bill states: A web site administrator upon request shall remove any comments posted on his or her web site by an anonymous poster unless such anonymous poster agrees to attach his or her name to the post and confirms that his or her IP address, legal name, and home address are accurate. All web site administrators shall have a contact number or e-mail address posted for such removal requests, clearly visible in any sections where comments are posted.

Among the bills' sponsors are New York Assemblyman Dean Murray and Sen. Thomas O'Mara, who say the proposed law is to fight cyberbullying.

"Cyberbullying has become one of the great tragedies of the Internet age," O'Mara said at a press conference. "Numerous national studies tell us that upwards of 40 percent of students have experienced some form of cyberbullying at least once, and they feel helpless in the face of it. Victims of anonymous cyberbullies need protection. We're hopeful that this legislation can be helpful to the overall effort to deter and prevent anonymous criminals from hiding behind modern technology and using the Internet to bully, defame and harass their victims."

The bill would give that website administrator full access to private information, with no additional security provisions for users who would have to hand over their personal information.

(RNN) – The highly anticipated U.S. Supreme Court rulings on the Defense of Marriage Act and the constitutionality of California's Proposition 8 may come by the end of the week, at the earliest...The arguments and subsequent decisions will be based on two high-profile cases - Hollingsworth v. Perry, which argues Proposition 8 violates the Equal Protection clause of the Fourteenth Amendment; and United States v. Windsor, which takes to task the term "marriage" in DOMA. Hearings on the arguments for the two cases took place March 26 and 27.

The nine Supreme Court justices have two major decisions to make in each case: they can either decide to rule or not to rule. Each step has specific implications for each case...In Hollingsworth v. Perry, the court can make one of several decisions: dismiss the petition of Prop. 8 supporters for lack of appellate standing, uphold the proposition or three variations of striking the ruling down.

One decision could decide it all – the court could decide to declare that same-sex marriage is legal or illegal nationwide. Another decision the court could make is not making a decision at all, choosing to leave it up to the states as their issue to handle.

"...last week...Rep. John Fleming (R-LA) passed an amendment in the House Armed Services Committee protecting religious speech of service members in the military. President Barack Obama has now threatened to veto the bill if it passes the full House and Senate...The White House released a Statement of Administration Policy (SAP) on H.R. 1960, the National Defense Authorization Act of 2014. Among other items, the SAP includes as an objection to the bill:

Expansion and Implementation of Protection of Rights of Conscience of Members of the Armed Forces and Chaplains of Such Members: The Administration strongly objects to section 530, which would require the Armed Forces to accommodate, except in cases of military necessity, “actions and speech” reflecting the “conscience, moral principles, or religious beliefs of the member.” By limiting the discretion of commanders to address potentially problematic speech and actions within their units, this provision would have a significant adverse effect on good order, discipline, morale, and mission accomplishment.

The SAP includes a veto threat: “…if the bill is presented to the President for approval in its current form, the President’s senior advisers would recommend that the President veto the bill.”

In other words, Obama says he will veto any bill that forbids his appointees or officers from telling a soldier that he cannot mention Jesus during prayer or have a Bible on his desk, or that keeps those appointees from telling a chaplain (who is an ordained clergyman) what religious teachings he is allowed to give in worship services, or what spiritual counseling he can give to another soldier.

Bumped back to the top as the second movie in less than a week to openly mock the absolutely serious subject of "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" [Rev. 1:1] - "This Is The End" - is released today 6/12/12 [see below]. Scripture tells us that 'the end' will be a time of "men's hearts failing them for fear" (Luke 21:26), but Talmudic Hollywood, which of late has declared open season on Christianity, has purposed instead to make it a matter of ridicule for millions of moviegoers. Scripture also tells us that "...there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming?" (2Peter 3:3-4). Apparently Hollywood has decided to rewrite the fundamentally flawed (scripturally inaccurate) 'Left Behind' movie series with this soon to be released low-budget production called "Rapture-Palooza". While the production was low-budget by Hollywood standards (2 million), the effort to mock and blaspheme Christianity, the Word of God - in particular the Book of Revelation, and the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Himself...was not constrained in any way. The result is a highly concerted effort of absolute ridicule of all these, including 'lasering' the Lord Jesus Christ at the 'second coming' [1:25]...with another actor 'mocking' God the Father, portraying the movie-version of him then appearing to say "you BBQ-ed my son".

The video below is one of two official trailers. It is actually the 'clean' version. Incredibly blasphemous content aside, with regard to "language and crude sexual references", vile and filthy are two adjectives that come to mind to describe the second "official" trailer. At any rate, a film like this being released is a clear indication that the same Talmudic Hollywood Antichrist-animosity displayed a year ago with the release of the show "Good Christian B*****s" [link] is now being taken to an even more open and hateful display than has ever been seen in this country (note also the opening date 6-7-13 - a double '13'). 6-7-13 follow up:  Rapture movies are apparently all-the-rage these days. Besides this proud and open attack on the Word of God titled 'Rapture Palooza' (above) which opens today 6-7-13, there are at least three more rapture/left-behind movies 'coming soon', including an actual big budget Hollywood remake of the Kirk Cameron 2001 'Left Behind' movie, due out sometime next year starring big name Nicolas Cage:

Left Behind starring Nicolas Cage - TBA 2014 "Tim LaHaye, one of the Left Behind authors, read the movie script and said: “It’s probably the worst script I’ve ever read.”

Note: The 'Final' movie, and no doubt the Nicolas Cage movie as well, will be holding to the general theme of most 'serious' rapture movies, similar to the original "Left Behind" series, in that the plot will depict a scenario whereby millions of people worldwide disappear with the result being that the world is immediately plunged into total chaos. Aside from any other consideration for the moment, such as a correct eschatology concerning the 'rapture' of the true bride of Christ being non-existent in the movies overall, the idea of "millions" of people being raptured is itself not found in scripture. The 'rapture' yes, 'millions' no. It is not the multitudes who merely 'profess' (Matt. 7:22-23), but the 'few' who truly possess (Matt. 7:14), whom the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has promised: 'I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth" (Rev. 3:10)

Only "a few", we are told, actually possess new life in Christ. Strong's Greek definition for the English word 'few' used in Matthew 7:14 gives this: 3641 oligos ol-ee'-gos - puny (in extent, degree, number, duration or value)

Puny. A "puny" number actually enter through the "strait gate" and then travel the "narrow way...which leadeth unto life". It is the "many", professing the name of Jesus all the while, that will nevertheless hear Him 'profess' to them: "I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity" (Matt. 7:23). In this our day, these are the apostate Laodiceans with their aberrant Christianity mentioned in the book of Revelation that, far from being 'raptured' to be forever with the Lord (1Thes. 4:17), will instead be spued out (Rev. 3:16). There will not be a few, but many in this company. Harsh reality. It is the clear teaching of scripture though.

The Word of God teaches the rapture of the true Church, which is the very 'body of Christ'. Many do not see it, but as stated numerous times, only one interpretation of "endtimes" can possibly be true. The teaching of the rapture is not found in any one verse per se, but is interwoven throughout scripture, which is one reason many do not see it. That is for another time. All of this though to make the point that when this event does occur, and the 'puny few' are supernaturally taken to "the Father's house" (John 14:2-3) prior to the judgment of God being deservedly turned upon the Christ-rejecting Jews and this Christ-rejecting world at large, it most probably will pass relatively unnoticed. In other words, nothing like what is presented in these movies. Let us not be misunderstood though. The unparalleled time of trouble will without question come upon the earth (Matt. 24:21), but as to timing, there is no direct connection or correlation to the 'rapture'.

To sum it up, it is not only the open mockery of movies like 'This is the End' and 'Palooza' that are Devilish attacks on the Book of Revelation and the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, but these sensationalized, claimed to be 'serious' rapture-movies like 'Final' and 'Nicolas Cage - Left Behind' (and the three original 'Left Behind' movies as well), scripturally distorted as they are, are also utter corruptions of crucial eschatological truth. The effect of these movies, all of them, is very likely intended to marginalize those who will hold to these prophetic truths of scripture as the days of fulfillment draw ever closer. Oh well. Going big with the chill factor. And as usual hiding clues in plain sight, in this case by use once again of the 'name game'. Script it all up, send it out, and what do you get? That "chilling" message has, it seems, been coded into this production of NSA leak-boy. The message is in the name. While the names in the various msm-productions cannot reasonably be expected to always contain some hidden clue, the fact is that they very often do - probably more than is ever revealed*. At any rate, working with the 'chill factor' theme, the tie-in to the name of the principal actor in NSA-leak boy is somewhat obvious - Snowden. Snow is cold, very chilly when in the snow. Worse than just being chilly in the snow is being 'Snowden'. Seems that this very well could be the 'hidden' message - snowed in - that is, that it is to get soooo chilly now, that John Q. will be effectually 'snowed in', being a proud declaration that as far as privacy of any sort goes it's 'game over'.

How this plays out short term is not yet knowable. Lawsuits are already starting as seen above with the ACLU, and the timing is just right for the July 4th Adam Kokesh show [link], possibly helping recruitment efforts for the 50 State Capitol civil-unrest marches. Put it all together and it is a recipe for prolonged chaos - ordo ab chao that is - just what the novus ordo seclorum spin-doctors ordered. Everything according to the playbook. Always. After Sandy, a new threat: Feds rewrite flood maps, boosting flood insurance

[excerpted] TOMS RIVER, N.J. (AP) — George Kasimos has almost finished repairing flood damage to his waterfront home, but his Superstorm Sandy nightmare is far from over...Like thousands of others in the hardest-hit coastal stretches of New Jersey and New York, his life is in limbo as he waits to see if tough new coastal rebuilding rules make it just too expensive for him to stay...That's because the federal government's newly released advisory flood maps have put his Toms River home in the most vulnerable area — the "velocity zone." If that sticks, he'd have to jack his house up 14 feet on stilts at a cost of $150,000 or face up to $30,000 a year in flood insurance premiums.

For many, it's an impossible choice. They can't afford to do either. And many unanswered questions have left residents paralyzed with indecision...About $350 million of New York City's and $600 million of New Jersey's Sandy relief funding has been allocated for the repair of single- and two-family homes, which could help defray the cost. But it's still unclear how that money will be distributed among individual homeowners, which means many of them could be on their own financially.

Yet residents here are staring down a possible A or V flood zone designation, putting them squarely on target to incur astronomical insurance premiums. FEMA defines an A zone as an area that has a 26 percent chance of flooding over 30 years. A V zone is the same, but adds the potential hazard of storm waves, increasing insurance premiums.

"The thing that scares me is that we've invested and worked on our houses our whole life," said Frank Porcella, who took out a mortgage to pay for flooding damage to his bungalow. "And now they'll make this place and the area around it a ghost town."

Several months before Sandy hit, Congress quietly passed the Biggert-Waters Flood Insurance Reform Act, a bill that authorized skyrocketing premium increases for people in flood-prone communities...At the same time, FEMA was already preparing to update flood plain maps that hadn't been revised in more than three decades. The new maps account for sea level rise and other changes to the coastline, putting almost every town in a more stringent flood zone.

If a home lies 4 feet below the [newly designated] flood plain, for example, a homeowner could pay $9,000 a year in flood insurance once the new rates take effect, Larson said. According to the article the new FEMA maps will not be released for a few months. Potentially things could get even more confused than they are now. One thing very clear though, those coastal areas, where people have lived for generations without a problem, will never be the same - all because of anomalous 'Sandy' with it's claimed "Sandy Hook" [see 'update' above]...and the pre-planned regulatory changes.

San Onofre nuclear power plant to shut down

LOS ANGELES - Southern California Edison's parent company announced Friday it is shutting down the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station just north of Camp Pendleton, the latest chapter of a saga that began with the discovery of a small leak of radioactive steam.

We have concluded that the continuing uncertainty about when or if SONGS might return to service was not good for our customers, our investors, or the need to plan for our region's long-term electricity needs," he said in a statement released from the company's headquarters in Rosemead.

 "We have long said that these reactors are too dangerous to operate and now Edison has agreed," Friends of the Earth President Erich Pica said this morning. "The people of California now have the opportunity to move away from the failed promise of dirty and dangerous nuclear power and replace it with the safe and clean energy provided by the sun and the wind."

SDG&E has said the plant's shuttering has not affected its ability to serve residents in San Diego County, largely because of the Sunrise Powerlink that came online last summer. The major transmission line is capable of carrying 800 megawatts of electricity -- nearby double SDG&E's share of energy from San Onofre -- from the Imperial County desert into San Diego and southern Orange County.

"Since the units went offline in early 2012, SDG&E's primary concern has been continuing to meet our customers' energy needs as safely and reliably as possible," said Jessie Knight Jr., the utility's chairman and CEO. "With the Sunrise Powerlink now in service and with additional contracted resources, barring any unforeseen system emergency, our region should have adequate power supplies for this summer."

"Opportunity to go green" is what was said when shutting down nuclear power plants in Japan after Fukushima, and essentially the very same thing is now being said about this just reported shut down of the San Onofre nuclear plant in Southern California. According to 'Friends of the Earth' President Erich Pica, Californians "now have the opportunity to move away from...dirty and dangerous nuclear power"...and head toward the wonderful and bright future of "safe and clean energy" from wind and solar. It's all good, all for the best, the future is bright. At least that is how it is being marketed. The reality is definitely otherwise though, which is why when mass layoff's were announced for the San Onofre nuclear plant last year in August, it was at that moment obvious that the plant would never be returned to service. Nuclear is out in the NWO. This is hard fact. It is Agenda 21. These things will not of course happen overnight. The plan is long range. In California another major step toward the goal has now been taken though. This is what should be understood. Permanently shutting San Onofre down is a huge development. Although service is not affected at present according to the article, due to the "Sunrise Powerlink" coming from a distant location (117 mi.), what is important to note about this situation is the remark that "an unforseen system emergency" could potentially cut the service off. And of course there is always the possibility of a (geo-engineered?) 'natural' disaster at any point in the future that could cause a long term disruption. Then what? That's easy - wind and solar, baby...get used to it.

Transitioning California into the planned global model - this is how it is being done. Shutting down nuclear is only part of the overall plan though. This Thursday evening, June 6, in an outrageous show of anti-family radicalism, the Boston Red Sox are celebrating Gay "Pride Night" at Fenway Park at their home game with the Texas Rangers. This is an official celebration of "Gay Pride Week" (going on now) and the Red Sox will be donating money to support the week's "gay" events.

According to the official "Pride Week" website, the Red Sox are partnering with the Boston Pride Committee, and this is an "official 2013 Pride Event." Furthermore, during the game, Boston's "LGBT community will be recognized." The Boston Red Sox will have a special "gay" section in the grandstand and will donate a percentage of the proceeds that night to Boston Pride. In an effort to involve more young people the Red Sox flyer on this was handed out at the LGBT Youth Pride event on May 18.

According to a Red Sox staffer we spoke to, "gay" basketball player Jason Collins will be throwing out the first pitch that night.
