6-3-14 Cruz speech At Judiciary Committee SH-216 Hearing: 42 United States Senators On Board With Constitutional Amendment to "repeal the free speech protections of the first amendment"
:10 "...a constitution that would serve as chains to bind the mischief of government...there's never been more mischief of government than there is right now"
:35 "...for over two centuries Congress has not dared to mess with the Bill of Rights...this amendment, here today, if adopted, would repeal the free speech protections of the first amendment"
1:05 "...that members of Congress would dare support repealing the first amendment"
1:25 "This amendment, if adopted, would give congress absolute authority to regulate the political speech of every single American with no limitations whatsoever. This amendment is about power, and is about politicians silencing the citizens..."
2:50 "...if this amendment passes, Congress can say you the citizens are no longer citizens, you're subjects because we've repealed the first amendment and repealed your ability to speak"
3:40 "42 Democrats [senators] have signed their names to a constitutional amendment that would give Congress the power to muzzle..."
4:45 "...this amendment if adopted would give Congress power to ban books, and to ban movies"
4:25 Cruz: "I'm today introducing two bills to further protect the free speech rights of individuals, and I'll be discussing those later in this hearing"
Just noticing, but it is really interesting that while Cruz is giving his impassioned speech on this extremely critical issue, and promising "two bills to further protect the free speech rights of individuals" (narrowly defined protection for "individuals" only?), he all the while somehow happens to be sitting behind a nameplate that says "Mr. Flake". Hidden in plain sight? Always is. Scriptreaders one and all...
[There is a real "Senator Flake" from AZ]
Be aware. It's still in committee, but the script will play out as scripted, that much is certain, and "free speech" will not come out of it unscathed however it goes. That is as they say a no-brainer. Rev. 18:4
