Big Brother Going After Net: Obama to Appoint Cyber-Czar And Calls For Citizen 'Help'

Another Brave New World "first ever":
Obama Calls on Americans to Help With Cybersecurity "In his video address, which the White House called the first of its kind by a U.S. president, Obama said the private sector, which owns and operates most of the networks, has a responsibility to secure them. He called for public-private partnerships [i.e. Agenda 21; communitarianism] to ensure security and privacy. 'Ultimately it comes down to each of us as individuals'"

Quote; "Government has a responsibility to lead. That's whay I've called for a new comprehensive approach to protecting America's digital infrastructure. My administration has recognized our networks as strategic national assets and made defending them a national security priority. To guide our efforts I created a new office here at the White House to be led by a cybersecurity coordinator that I will soon appoint. [i.e. internet czar]

Photo from 1980's cult classic 'They Live", a campy little flick about an alien race attempting to take over the earth. In the movie, the aliens have taken over all the governments of the earth, and all the media, they look human, and everything appears perfectly normal outwardly...unless someone puts on the special glasses. Then, it's another story altogether. In this scene, while everyone else would see only the usual 'CNN, ABC, CBS, FOX, etc.' talking heads with the lit-up backdrop, the one with the special glasses would see the above. Just a movie...right?

The internet is now a "national security priority", to be added to 'terror' and H1N1. fyi
