Impeachment-Hearing 'Hearing' Update

Update on: 'Impeachment' Drama in Washington
***
article: Impeachment a hot topic at 'not Impeachment' hearing

"Even though Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers insisted early on that the panel's evaluation of Bush's "imperial presidency" was decidedly not an impeachment hearing, the prospect was not far from many minds during the six hours of testimony."

"Kucinich formally introduced his articles of impeachment into the record of the committees proceedings -- although he did not utter the dreaded I-word, instead referring to the resolutions by their more legalistic titles "H. Res. 333, H. Res. 1258 and H. Res. 1345."

""Based on all of the things this administration has done, it is probably the most impeachable administration in the history of America,” said Hinchey, who appeared alongside Kucinich and North Carolina Reps. Walter Jones and Brad Miller."

"The committee's top Republican, Lamar Smith, mocked the proceedings, comparing them to last month's hearing featuring former White House spokesman Scott McClellan, who recently wrote a tell-all memoir about his time as Bush's spokesman."

""If last month it appeared we hosted a 'book of the month club,' this week it seems that we are hosting an anger management class," Smith said. "Nothing is going to come out of this hearing with regard to impeachment of the President. I know it, the media knows it, even the Speaker knows it. ... This hearing will not cause us to impeach the President; it will only serve to impeach our own credibility.""

Testimony of Vincent Bugliosi

First degree charges against members of the Bush Adminstration

FULL TEXT OF VINCENT BUGLIOSI'S STATEMENT

July 25, 2008 Friday

Statement of Vincent Bugliosi, Author and Former Los Angeles County Prosecutor
House Judiciary Committee

(excerpts; full text linked above)

"Within the pages of my book, The Prosecution Of George W. Bush For Murder, I present evidence that proves, beyond a reasonable doubt, that Bush administration officials took this nation to war in Iraq under false pretenses, and therefore, under the law, they are guilty of murder for the deaths of over 4,000 young American soldiers who have died so far in Iraq fighting their war. And let's not forget the over 100,000 innocent Iraqi men, women, children and babies who have died horrible, violent deaths because of their war."

"I am fully aware that the charge I have just made is an extremely serious one. But let me tell you that at this stage of my career I don't have time for fanciful reveries. I never in a million years would propose this prosecution if I didn't believe there was more than enough evidence to convict administration officials and that I was standing on strong, legal ground."

"Since we're talking about a matter of war and peace, with the safety and lives of millions of human beings hanging in the balance, and with Congress about to vote in one week on whether it should authorize President Bush to go to war, what could be worse than administration officials keeping this all-important conclusion from Congress and the American people?" video

re: "Congress about to vote in one week whether it should authorize...war"

fyi: see: Fast Tracking Iran War? This has the appearance of nothing more than a 'pageantry' of high stakes politics played out for public consumption, both sides role-playing. Charges of murder leveled only to be mockingly dismissed with an arrogant wave of the hand as an "anger management class" by top republican hireling. All this enacted drama and another global-domination war in the offing...no coverage by the msm...incredible to see how things really are. History is being made though, and for the relatively few who are even aware, you are front row spectators....of the demise of the nation dramatized.

Evil Babylon (this world system i.e. 'how things really are') will meet her maker though and all scores shall be settled in that 'day'. stay tuned

Rev. 18:4
-----------------------------------------
60 So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all these words that are written against Babylon....64 And thou shalt say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.
