Rick Warren vs. the apostle Paul

"Concerning Rick Warren's recent appearance at Sinai Temple’s Friday Night Live Shabbat...."

source: JewishJournal
"Warren spoke at Sinai as part of the Synagogue 3000 program, which aims to revitalize Jewish worship."
"His mentor was management guru Peter Drucker."

"It is Drucker’s theory of “management by objectives” that Warren replicates in every endeavor...Jews are learning to reorganize thier [sic] faith from a Christian who was mentored by a Jew."

Warren managed to speak for the entire evening without once mentioning Jesus — a testament to his savvy message-tailoring."

'Warren told Wolfson his interest is in helping all houses of worship, not in converting Jews. He said there are more than enough Christian souls to deal with for starters."

What's wrong with this picture? Much in every way. Here are a few things for starters. Rick Warren, famed purpose-driven preacher, helping to "revitalize Jewish worship". Rick Warren speaks the entire evening without once mentioning the name of "Jesus". Rick Warren says "there are more than enough Christian souls". Rick Warren states his interest is to "help all houses of worship".

Are you still one of those in 'Rick Warren denial'?

The apostle Paul used to speak in the synagogues too. A quick comparison is in order, I believe, between his message to the Jewish people, and that of Rick Warren's. Was the apostle interested in 'revitalizing' the Jewish faith? No, not in any stretch of the imagination. Here is what he had to say:

".......they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews: And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the Scriptures, Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ." (Acts 17:1-3)

and:

"And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks. And when Silas and Timothy were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ." (Acts 18:4-5; see also Acts. 13:14-45)

The apostle Paul had one only message to the Jewish people, and he took his message from "the scriptures", i.e. the Jewish old testament. He understood that the Jewish people must also receive forgiveness of sins through the finished work of Jesus Christ . The message was plain, the message was also simple; he testified that "Jesus was Christ". He preached inside the synagogues, that "this Jesus", whom the Jewish people had rejected, and to this very day still do, "is Christ". In this can be seen the night and day difference of what Warren is doing, and the message he is bringing to the Jewish people, in this instance.

What is to be made of these things?

Many Christians do not understand, as did Paul, that the Jewish people are estranged from Almighty God the Father as a result of having denied the Son, as the apostle John, who also understood this, shows us here:

"Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also." (1 John 2:23)

Any that will deny the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, "hath not the Father", as John clearly states. The Jewish people who are still today in the place of denying 'the Son'; according to the above verse, hath not Father either and for that reason the Jewish religion can never be revitalized, as Rick Warren says. This will also explain these words of the Lord Jesus as he spoke for the last time at the Jewish temple, before being crucified:

"Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord." (Matt. 23:38-39)

Only when the Jews are brought to the place where they "acknowledgeth the Son", will they be "revitalized". This will definitely happen though, but it will be a work of the Lord himself, and involves "great tribulation"; but to go into that is more involved than is possible to deal with here.

The intent here is to give enough information that a person may begin to "connect the dots" so as to see the 'big picture'. An effort is required as the issues are rather involved, and the deception is great. Nevertheless, it is vitally important to do so. Note also as quoted above the mention of the name of Peter Drucker, as being Warren's mentor. Peter Drucker, if researched, will be shown to be, basically, the architect of the planned coming global management system. It is this very system that Warren and others are working to implement. Warren's 'purpose' is to unite and assimilate "christianity" into their global system with all of the other 'religions', so as to be a "manageable whole". Connect the dots and see if this is true. agenda

Finally, the most important aspect for a Christian to understand is that "Purpose Driven" is not by any means a work of God. It is not possible, as further evidenced by Warren's above statements concerning already "more than enough enough Christian souls", "helping all houses of worship", and "revitalizing the Jewish religion". It's hard to imagine a more 'anti-Christian' message than that! No, without the Son, they have not the Father, and without the Father and the Son, they can in no way have the Spirit of God! It is the working of another spirit.

The message is clear. If you are involved directly or indirectly with any of these "Purpose-driven" churches, global missions, or with any of the various organizations that have affiliations, there are huge problems that must be faced. We would encourage you to do that. Oh, and one more pertinent thing, let us not forget to faithfully proclaim in love the name of Jesus Christ to the Jewish people! amen

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." (Rom. 1:16)

  1. Hi Tom,

I'm hoping you may have saved a link in this article in archive, as it is no longer retrievable when you click on it. It's the "agenda" link. I'd sure like to know if you have any way of dredging that back up, as I believe it would be a valuable resource to me in my RW info gathering today.

    Thanks!

  2. Hi anon,

Unfortunately no, the article for that link does appear to be gone and i did not at the time save any copy of it.

You might do some research on Peter Drucker though if not familiar with who he is (*was - 1909-2005). Drucker basically designed the global-system now being put in place (aka "3-legged stool"), of which 'purpose driven' is a part of. Drucker also mentored Warren, as mentioned in the above posted article.

If not too familiar with these things, these two links are some older posts on this blog that might help to get a basic understanding of the Drucker-system and Warren/one-world religion connection:
