The reality is that they already are fallen away, but do not know it.

They are the foolish virgins of Matthew 25 - they have the appearance of Christians - but they are not. Their unregenerate 'lamps of profession', powered only by fleshly energy, have burned out and they will find the door shut (Matt. 25:8) when the bridegroom comes for his bride to take her to his Father's house. (John 14:1-3)

A real christian, one who truly is regenerate, will not be subjected to that "hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth"

...because, and it is very simple, the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ already took their judgment upon himself at Calvary, shedding his blood as propitiation for their sin.

The wrath of God was poured out upon him on the cross of Calvary.

For that reason, and that reason alone, the truly regenerate Christian, the 'wise virgins' of Matt. 25, will never face the wrath of God.

1Thes. 5:9 "For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ"

The bible teaches the rapture. Great job on playing the other role of the deception. Christians were never promised that they would not go through tribulation. They were promised that the SHALL go through tribulation.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
